next time you are around nyc stop over in flushing. there is a chinese shuttle bus that goes between chinatown and flushing. i like flushing better since it has less tourist and koreatown is nearby, union street for one. real great chinese buffet at maple and main. second floor restaurant. weekends are great with the sea foods. cost about $30 but that includes the tips too. other place more suited to student budget is across from the libary on main, i am pretty sure. go downstairs to a food court. great goat meat- spicy. spicy soup too.
if you are from conn you can get the casino bus?

in the few years past, i was in nyc but haven't stop by going in the chinatown. :mad2: my next visit is a must but WHEN?

a goldman sachs intern? now that is sexy!! you got 3 things going for you if you work there- female, minority and HC. that along with your bedroom gymnastics:roll: will get you far in their organization . the most i really know of GS is that they were right in the thick of things when wall street sunk the world wide economy. just being behind their doors as an intern may get you introduced to the great capitalist brotherhood/sisterhood. with your hearing aid to the ground and your female charm you will be an asset to ADer with the latest trend on how to get rich quick before the feds wake up and find the latest scam.

yep! I can take casino bus. I've done it many times when I was traveling back and forth between New London and Boston...and it's soo much cheaper to ride those buses. I haven't taken the bus to NY yet...but perhaps I will one day. I don't know the exact schedules...it's not exactly published online.

Someone is going have to be with me in Flushing to check out those Chinese food :)

Oh DDU, what a joker you are :P Haha. I actually wear Cochlear Implant, not hearing aids ;P. Yeah, I think it would be cool to intern at Goldman Sachs, especially in its few particular groups I'm interested in mostly.

And if I hear stuff about getting rich quick, I'll let you guys know ;P ;P ;P LOL

That would be great, Alex...as long you don't make the meeting place "You must be 21 or older to enter" :P :P (I'm not 21 yet...in..uhh...7 months xD)
 
since more deaf are coming out of high school, more will come here. Right now most of the young ones are in high school or too busy with college. The ones in high school, I'm not sure how much restriction they have on computer. Like Facebook for teens under 18, or parent grounding them for making bad grades...

But anyway, you'll have more freedom as you get older... unless you have kids, in school, or too many jobs. So that's why it seem too many over 21's are on here.
