Wow, :shock: I see clearly that Groomer cut it tooooo deeply! Ouch! Because I have seen groomers with accident cut it but Mostly with tiny cut but your mom s dog's ear are worse and long cut! :eek: Oh Ouch! Agree with DVM and your mom take groomer to court and have her pay the vet! :mad:
 
That is so upsetting! That groomer should be out of business! It makes me so sad for the poor little dog. I hope she is better and won't be too afraid of groomers now. Wow!
 
:shock: Was that picture taken after the dog's grooming? If so, I don't see the dog having a beautiful hair cut. Whoever groomed that dog, did a horrible job--the worst I've ever seen, I would shut that business down if I were your mom.

Yes, DVM Vet did take a picture of her ear. Did you read the note? It's worst! The groomer is owner to Parlor Pooch Grooming. :roll: It's bad business! My mom took her other dog Birdie go to new professional grooming for toy poodle today. :)

I know that. :mad: I have never see a long cut like this picture before.

I agree with you. It should be out of business! If groomer is not pay. My mom will go to BBB. She is send groomer a mail to show a picture how it's terrible grooming. She is send a file to small claim court.
 
I'm totally apalled and :pissed: when I saw the picture of poor Lucy's ear. I cannot beleive how worst the Groomer did...

I'm glad that DVM Vet is on your mom's side and gave your mom right to get the small claim.

I hope the Groomer is willing to cover the cost for Lucy's surgery to aviod court to accept his knowledge that he did wrong... If not, then your mom has the right to take the Groomer court.

Yea, I did in fact read the letter to the judge, I do have a question for you, Does your state law says that groomers must be licensed or do not have to be? I do hope that the Humane Society will evaluates that place. You can also take your story to news center or news paper and printed the story about your mother's dog so other pet owners can be aware of that business. Your mom could be everyone's hero. :giggle:

See I told you. That's why I was mad! Groomer is woman not man. She is bad example with her tattoo and body pierces.

You know what? My mom told me. When she picked Lucy up and groomer never tell her about Lucy's ear. She said Lucy is doing fine with groom. My mom left and found and saw the little bleed on Lucy's ear. She got pissed off and took her to VET. She didn't appreciate that groomer lied to my mom about Lucy. It's her right to sue on groomer.

That's good question. I have no clue if she have a grooming license. I will ask my mom if she don't mind to put on newspaper about the story. I think it's good idea.
 
That's horrible. I'd be really mad. I could not be that woman and not tell their owner anything.

The vet should pay the bill plus the cost of grooming refunded.
 
Sheesh!! the pictures looks horrible, poor dog. This is not a professional groomer at all. While I do understand that accidents happen but, c'mon the dog's ear looks like it was cut in half! :cold:

Um, I do have a question here to ask, when a groomer trim the dog's facial hair, is there any one else that can hold the dog's from moving its head while the groomer is trimming near the ears?..
 
I hear this happening all too often... Either the dog doesn't stay still and it happens by complete accident. The groomer is completely inept at their job or finally, they just are near their off-time and are cranky from long shifts so they will do sloppy quick jobs.
 
:eek2: Sorry that your dog got hurt. :( I know someone who had a little dog taken to a groomer who accidentally cut off the dog's wee wee. :barf:
