"Physiological"? Isn't that quite a big word for you? For you to claim that a 17 year old is an adult, is not only slander (as a 17 year old is considered a minor), it is an attempt to defend Jared Fogle's actions - which in and of itself, is a horrendous crime.

Something you may be familiar with? I think I am starting to understand why you have all this confusion. You are not allowed in the US iirc, because it wasn't anything to do with any actions taken on your part, all the blame has been shifted on U.S. law.

Perhaps if you want rights, maybe you should have followed the law - like everyone else is expected to do. But somehow, you are "special".

I have same opinion - 17 years old isn't adult, even I don't felt that anyone under 21 are real adult.

Of course the very reason why he was not charged in ny state is 17 is the age of consent in ny.

Im not sure how some are unable to understand this. Its actually fairly cut and dry.

If we accept the idea 17 year olds are children then we must obviously then accept that ny allows children to have sex. Has child labour. Allows children to live on their own. Own and operate vehicles ect ect.

I didn't make the laws in ny.

I think it's your bitterness that you were kicked out of the US (or you chose on your own to move to Canada) that you dislike US laws regarding who is considered a child and who isn't. The US acknowledges any person at age 18 and above as an adult, and not a minute sooner. So, when someone does something to a person less than 18, it's an offense. Simple as that. It's the LAW. It doesn't matter whether you think a 17 year old is not a child. There are laws for a reason. Makes me think the reason you were in prison had something to do with this, and you're trying to justify it. Nobody here, other than you, thinks a 17 year old is an adult.
 
I wonder why the US does not consider three groupings of age more than is done? There certainly is a difference between younger kids, teenagers, and older people considered to be adults.

If the argument you used to defend yourself in a US court is even remotely close to your argument in your posts, I can fully understand why a Judge kicked you out of the US.

And in case you are perhaps wondering, yes, Judges are authoritarian. They make judgements, it is their job.

17 is the age of consent in ny. (That is the law by the way)
