Here is says in Exodus 21:24
Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
Thats what it means. If arabs attack us you attack them the same way.

Ok vamp let me explain this to you. Hearing is the most beatuful thing in the human body. Hearing sound is a remarkable gift.Hearing allows you to sociate with people and communcation with them,Hearing music allows your mind to enjoy itself. In a silent world you cannot enjoy or be able to do these things. GOD should at least take it away tempoary not perminted. Deafness is a life sentence i will never be paroled from deafness unless this hair cell re-generation comes soon or the stem cell treatments comes soon.So in a way im mad at GOD for this. I rather be in a wheelchair or blindness then deafness. So i just answer your question.

Go mad all you can.. I rather to be deaf than being in wheelchair or blindness cuz wheelchair and blindness are more -frustrated disabilities-..

I lost my hearing when I was 15 years old.. NOW.. I looked back, to see if I want to be hearing again.. Naww.. I am glad that I am deaf-- so I dont need to hear all that bull-shit going on out there..

Let me know when you go blindness so i can trip you over or you are in wheelchair.. i could lose those bolts, so you can go mad at me instead of God.. God is great and amazing...... :D

(by the way, go mad all you can,,, but God wont give up and still loves you)

I was puzzled...are u thankful that u are deaf? If not, are u bitterness against God who made u deaf? God has purpose to make u deaf. Moses in the bible had slow of speech.

God said to Moses in Exodus 4:11, "And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb (mute-can't talk), or deaf?, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord?"

honestly, I don't really see a point where you have to be posting in a message board that's for the deaf and as for you, who is begining to get deaf as well, won't appericate the way life occurs on him...

if you don't like it, at least just *bleep* off.

(sorry, I've been cussing alot lately :D )

of course, I'm pretty much pissed off when you say that hearing is the most "beauiful" thing in your body...by golly, I was born deaf and have asthma problems, but least I have tons of other ablities to do...such as walking, running, climbing, see, smell, and able to catch things with my hands, etc...I even have weak eyesight and I wear glasses, but I'm just glad that I can still see. do I whine about my eyesight? my ashtma attack? even my deafness? WELL? then what about other people? does cheri whine? does vampy whine? does Banjo whine? is this a "whinning" message board? the answer is obvious : HELL NO!


dammit, if you are gonna whine just once, and I mean JUST ONCE! I'm gonna scream my lungs out to death and beg the moderator to ban you (FOREVER!) but of course, I could ignore you, but I like to read EVERYONE's posts so just to totally undertand what the main topic is about, and if someone throws in something that doesn't even make sense or is offensive, then someone has something to give from their piece of their mind. so whenever someone say something inapporicate or offensive, then it's doesn't belong in such an conversation where it would obviously offend other people, including me.

Deafness: A matter of choice?

If I was visited in my sleep by the Lord. And he told me I had to give up something. My wife. My child. My grandchild. My hearing. My sight. My ability to walk. My sense of taste and smell. I would pick my hearing every time. And I would not have a pity party about it. Steve, sit down and read the book of Job in the Bible. Pretend you are Job. See what God has to tell YOU about YOUR situation.
