How did you know? You're right. My step dad have it. :( Is your mom passed away or still alive? But I was mad at you yesterday. Please PM me right away.

My mother didn't learn about her pancreatic cancer until it spread through 90% of her body. After her diagnosis, she lived for an additional 7 months before passing away. She refused all chemo treatments because she said that when it was her time to go, G*d would take her home.

I am sorry about your mom. That's why I am concern about my step dad. He will not able get out of hospital for 2 weeks or so. I am not sure if he will take a chemo treatment. It cost him a lot. I don't know how much cost for chemo treatment. My mom is really worrying about him. She didn't want to talk about pancreatic cancer on vp. I respected her. I told her my husband already info me. It's tough for my mom to be alone in house.

My both side family never have a pancreatic cancer. My step dad have it. He didn't know it caused from either. Do you know more about it?
 
you all will be in my thoughts ... I think it's great that it's to be found out than later. :hug:
 
Update

My step dad got out of hospital last Tuesday. He is able to eat with food and drink finally! I want to say thank you for pray. He is still on tube feeding on his right stomach. I helped my mom with cook and clean up the house. She appreciate my help. My step dad will get a hospital bed in my mom's house soon. He will not be alive very longer.

I am sorry Pinky. Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst for cure rate. I will pray for your family.:hug:

Update

My mom called me recently. My step dad have a bad serve pain about 10 rating. He threw up a lot today. My mom called to nurse. The nurse came stop by my mom's house to check on my stepdad. The doctor said will give him a chemo to be alive for 20 percent. It's his chance to be life. I believe he will pass away anytime. It's his schedule for Chemo treatment on Dec 2. :(
 
I'm sorry about your step-dad. I hope that the chemo will help him live longer. I will be thinking of you and your family.:(

I won't be back to AD for a while. Because my mom talked to me today. My step dad is in the hospital. He is in bad condition. He have tumor in his liver, spleen and colon. He had remove cyst from his right chest last week. He started to sick last weekend. My mom took him to ER real late at night last Saturday. He is on PIC in IV. He can't drink and eat. If he touch his organ. It will cause spread of tumor in body. :( My mom really need my help to do clean up her house. She is under stress right now.

I want to say thank y'all to pray for my health. I did thank to god for heal my surgery. I found it out. I don't have cancer or disease on my liver. But I have remove galbladder for reason. I made other thread. I am getting better now. But it's take to heal for 6 to 10 months.

I can't stay at AD to read all posts to get my attention. I don't have time. I have many errands to do. I am so sad for my step dad. It's scared me and my mom. :(

Sorry to hear about your stepfather , I know what is like to take care of someone with cancer .......my prayers and thoughts be with you all the way . I pray mostly to give you and your family strength , courage and stay strong while you and family go thru rough times with your stepfather . Keep your chin high and stay strong best you can .
