Yep...now that I think of it...we were mocking SEE and just playing around with language. At first, I had no idea what was going on about us mocking CSign but I couldnt remember if I did or not since I was so tired last night when I played the word game.

Some people are just too self centered and too busy looking for ways to chastise others that they can't see reality.

One member uses SEE for her child.....the usual suspects don't like that.....as usual....so the ridicule starts. They are doing triple time it appears. Gotta mock the CI guy, the SEE girl and the stem cell hope all at the same time. It's comical to watch.

Exactly. It shows that you have great language skills by being able to play creatively with English in this way. Perhaps it is the result of not having skills equal to yours and others that makes one unable to see the humor and the purpose of our game.

Here is what I HATE about SEE.

Every bilingual community I have ever been around has puns and word play based on inconsistencies in both languages.

For instance in Spanish there is no real way to say, "Foul ball" but foul sounds like fowl and a chicken is a fowl. So a Mexican is apt to say, "El da una gallina" or literally "He gave a chicken." to mean he hit a foul ball.

So why can't you use some of these puns in ASL?

They are all over the place just waiting to be played with.

So why not?

Because some idiot used up all the puns inventing a pseudo language called SEE.
