I had no idea what was going on. Yeah it was scary , I was glad my boyfriend was home as I would never hear gun that far off. I was once walking out of my house gun right when a gun was going off. Someone was speeding in a car after another car with a gun . A neighbor told me I just walked down my steps as gun was fired. I never heard the gun. I moved out of the neighborhood , I was not going to have my daughter around that. I am was so glad my daughter was not outside playing when that happen.

Yes. We had a bird or two kamikaze themselves on the windows at our beach house. Then we bought some decals that are nearly transparent to humans, but visible to birds, to put on the windows.

No dead birds since then. These decals really work well; we've seen birds start flying toward the windows and then suddenly bank and fly away the other direction.

Sad thing. The bird population has enough problems dealing with the feral cat population in the U.S. I was determined that my house was not going to be an instrument of death to them if I could possibly prevent it.

Alleycat, give me a minute and I'll look it up.

I was concerned about putting water out for the birds as we have cat that comes to our yard to hunt the mice and he is really good at it. So far the cat has not gone after my feathers friends . Marty does try to drink the water sometime by standing on his tiny legs.
