If you can see the lady dancing clockwise and counter clockwise, your IQ is above 160!

The statistical probability of three people chosen at random having an IQ above 160 is approximately .000000000000027. Bet this one finds it’s way to snopes in a week or two. Don’t ya just love e-mail factoids?

Sheesh, good animation. Yeah, I can see both way of rotation but not at same time. Interesting.

Yes I can see it going clockwise then changing over to counter clockwise and it repeats again.

I already know my IQ is not above 160 at least I'm the one being honest.
Its always in between 135-150 though I took so many IQ test (once a while for 3 years to see if it changes) and it always seem to changes depending on my mood.

You guys want to read something totally insane?

I am a member of several boards around the Net. Most of them are for avid readers like myself. One of those forums is based in England so Europeans makeup the bulk of the membership. I posted an exact duplicate (copy/paste) of this thread on that one board, and guess what happened?

Every poster went crazy with anger at my trivial (and fun) thread. The Admin quickly closed the thread and sent me a threatening PM. Isn't that just nuts?

Boy I'll tell you, people are just too hard to judge. Incredible!

Those poor folks have something stiff up their backside because I see no harm in the thread.

Leading people to believe that something like Intelligence Quotient can be determined through a visual animation trick is misleading. I can undersand their concern. Testing and interpreting results is actually a complicated process. Any internet based testing is completely invalid.

That's right. There are also other things to consider such as their hobbies, lifestyle, education, etc. That's why IQ tests can be considered as biased.

For instance, a farmer would answer a lot of nature-related and farming related questions... but not general math questions.

I've never had my I.Q. tested and it's unlikely I ever will. I don't believe I.Q. truly determines a person's intelligence.

Exactly. An I.Q. test actually measures more learned knowledge and skills than innate ability.

When I focused on the foot, she went clockwise.

When I focused on the hands, she went counterclockwise.

I don't believe this has anything to do with IQ.

It's a two-dimensional figure but your brain "fills in the gaps" to interpret a third dimension of one leg in front of the other. The brain can also reverse it.

Another site that posted this picture said that it had to do with right brain vs. left brain thinking.
