Is your IQ above 160?

When I focused on the foot, she went clockwise.

When I focused on the hands, she went counterclockwise.

I don't believe this has anything to do with IQ.

It's a two-dimensional figure but your brain "fills in the gaps" to interpret a third dimension of one leg in front of the other. The brain can also reverse it.

Another site that posted this picture said that it had to do with right brain vs. left brain thinking.

Yep, right brain vs. left brain processing, and also schemas.

She pirouettes in both directions before she summersaults. Whew! I'm so relieved this confirms my ardent belief in my extraordinary intelligence.

Obviously the college testers took my temperature when I was having a bout of hypothermia and confused the two numbers.

If you can see the lady dancing clockwise and counter clockwise, your IQ is above 160!

I pulled the file and saved. I learned the file was only less than 1 second long. And it played my mind as one way for 10 seconds to 1 minute, then it will switch over the another way. It was difficult to switch from clockwise to counter clockwise and back n forth. Easier if stare at the heel and successfuly switch over.

Nice trick. I know I have IQ around 120 because my wife tested me as her subject during grad school. And many online test, I still got consistence of 120. But this is more of spatial skill.

In general, deaf have better spatial skill where they can identify in 3D of any object. This is a 3D and easier for deaf to change what they are viewing. Hearing often look at picture as 2D, rarely 3D.

Thank to classifier of ASL, we able to disguise the difference. (I was once an ASL teacher)

Good ol' Chase. You always manage to get a chuckle or two out of me.

This whole thing is in good fun. Please don't take the test as being authentic. It's just fun, visual play. :)

You know what I saw it both ways myself and here's how - I let my brain lose focuse for a minute then she starts spinning the opposite direction. Maybe Im the type that can shut certain parts of my brain off and turn on other parts? Too bad I can't have all of my brain on all the time or I'd been in MENSA by now..... :P

Research has shown that the right side of the brain regulates artistic activities such as painting, music, theatre, dance, writing, etc. Consequently, you may notice that there are a number of lefties who choose artistic careers. Right-brained people are better able to work with the imagination to develop creative solutions to problems. They are generally spontaneous individuals who respond emotionally to circumstances. And, they have a way of creating art out of thin air. They are the type of people who see all the colors of the rainbow, can distinguish the scents of blossoms in the air, and dream in color.

On the other hand, persons ruled by their left brain are likely to be the alter-ego of the right-brained individuals. They are “Mr. Spocks” of the planet who fathom the unfathomable through the use of logic and sharp analyses. They are the mathematicians and the scientists, the doctors, and the communicators. They perfect the art of nitpicking, and analyze every word that comes out of another’s mouth. In the decision making process, they calculate each step and analyze the results of their “research” before proceeding to the next step. Their actions are slower, thought-out, and decisive. And they put little stock in the emotional aspect of decision making.

I see two faces opposite of each other in the shadows and in the white I see a chalice/goblett/whatchmacallit.

Nice explanation, but its a bit more complicated than that.

When I was a teen I was into pencil drawing. I read many books (and such) regarding the subject. Then I ran across one book that altered the way I looked at the world, literally. It improved my drawings skills overnight (100%) and it did so via the right/left dominant theory of the brain. It is a fascinating subject I must say.

I was able to visually switch my vision (brain hemispheres) from one mode (right brain) to the other (left brain) and thus define form in the subject I was drawing- to see negative spaces and positive forms, perspectives, and texture in relation to each other at once. It was a true awaking, mentally speaking. That book forever changed my visual observations of nature and the elements surrounding it.
