Is this true about Gallaudet?

Barron's or kaplan's gre prep.

the harrowing part is.... the actual GRE is not even similar to Barron's or Kaplan's. I went omfgwtf and bombed it.

have you seen GRE's English and Writing section? you'd fail it. :aw:

X2.

It's not an easy test. You need to be a very fast an comprehensive reader and have either an immense vocabulary or a very strong foundation in English morphology in order to do well on the verbal section. I had to take it twice before I was satisfied with my verbal score.

Nah, I won't fail it. I've looked at it. Nothing I can't handle. The math section is still a joke. The reading and writing section isn't too bad. It looks so much like the new SAT test I took, compared to ya'll who took the older version that's on 1600 scale.

I am curious about this test. Is it available online? Maybe I will ace it?

It's so annoying that they had to add the fucking writing section!! I hate the writing section! I wish it was equally English and Math section, not two English and one Math section. Ugh >.<

I've been interested in grad school here and there, but seeing that math on those samples...wow.... not good for me-

um... see post #211. and he's the English major (grad student)... a writer... You'd fail it. Wouldn't be surprised if you had to take it twice. It's normal. nothing to be ashamed about.

Yea, from what I understand they base the previous year's tests every new edition, which is kinda why it may be different if they revised the GRE one. I had the same thing when I prepared for it a few years back.

For the analogies part, it's basically the same. Take any online test and see if you can pair up the words correctly.

just practice test. to take the actual test - you have to go to testing facility.

Hmm, I don't remember anymore. I think it's changed a little since I took it... There's got to be some sample tests you can take online...

The writing section is graded by a person, however, so you can't really do a sample test of it. I did do well on that section the first time around, thankfully.
