Sounds to me like she had an ear for music from the get-go.
That's what my mother says. My nephew takes ate her.

She did. It was the Democrats who complained about it.If she is white, why doesn't she pick white, then?

Which Republicans made an issue of race in the last Presidential election? I recall the Democrats emphasizing that, if elected, Obama would be the first black President of the USA. To what issue of race are you referring?Well, I guess they figured that the Repubs made such an issue of race in the last Presidential election that they would simply give them a taste of their own medicine.
I believe the people who asked about the birth certificate were concerned about his nationality, not his race. There are no requirements in the Constitution regarding the race of the President but there are for nationality.Yep. The Democrats did do that. It was the truth, not playing a race card.
All of the requests for birth certificates, discussion over whether he was technically black, etc. came from conservative (read Repub) sources. In fact, the vast majority of this nonsense surrounding Obama's term has come from the conservative. Pleasee point me to a white President that has undergone the same sort of treatment during his campaign and his term.
Conservatives didn't want a Democrat in the presidency, period.I know what you are going to say, "It didn't have anything to do with his race."
To that, I reply, just because race isn't specifically mentioned does not mean it was not based on race. Covert racism works that way, and the conservative politicians play to that mindset in voters.
I just thought it was plain bizarre in this case. Especially if Democrats supposedly don't care about race in politics.Personally, I think it is sad that race ever needs to come into focus in a political election. It just indicates how intolerant and prejudiced our country still is.
You didn't answer my questions. It doesn't have to be specifically mentioned to be obvious.
Like I said earlier, it is most likely just a case of demanding that all live up to the standards expected from the Repubs toward the Democrats.
This is really all that you need to say.Conservatives didn't want a Democrat in the presidency, period.
You didn't answer my questions.
If conservatives and Republicans are racist, why do they support candidates of all races? Why are there conservative and Republican politicians and appointees of all colors?
Were conservatives and Republicans racist when they campaigned against white liberal candidates?
Is that the only reason? No problem.See, your questions are not answerable because you always add the word "all" to frame questions about things that never included the word "all".
Is that the only reason? No problem.
If conservatives and Republicans are racist, why do they support candidates of various races, not just white? Why are there conservative and Republican politicians and appointees of various colors, not just white?

There. Fixed.
Which question are you answering? I asked more than one.Because some are not all.
Similar to my doctor's accent. However, I've met Indians with accents so thick that I could barely understand them. I'd pick an accent i know well cuz it's easier or me to understand it.
ahhh, yes. The limitations of coming from a monolingual culture!I deal with truck drivers all the time. Many are East Indian. Some speak perfect English. Most know several languages. A few I understand better if we speak Spanish rather than English.
Surprised that no one talked about her picking "Asian". Aren't Indians technically Asians?
Of course, racially, that does not make sense...
The people of India are several ethnicities:Surprised that no one talked about her picking "Asian". Aren't Indians technically Asians?
