This is not about her being acquitted. This is about jury members making profit off of cases. Which will make it NO JURY in ANY cases can profit off of them. It should have been done a long time ago.

This has a lot to do with Casey being acquitted. If she was found guilty, they wouldn't have bothered proposing the law in the first place. You know this is true. I think it's a waste of time. It doesn't affect the cases.

I respectfully disagree. It is about profiting off a death of a child. If the outcome was different and she was found guilty, I would feel the same and so would many other people.

Why stop there? Make it a crime to ask a juror anything that could possibly result in profit from a child's death. But why stop there? What about cases where the average Joe was decided upon? Rape trials? Where will it end? This bill has EPIC FAIL written all over it.

Any jury, Any case, It will cover it. :) Not just this one.

People will go to jury duty just knowing they can sell the info to media. Not a good reason to join jury duty..

Yes. Her not-guilty verdict angered many and people are now looking to displace that elsewhere.

Jury duty is much different than the media. I do agree the media made the whole trial a circus and I am no fan of them making money off of it either. The media is the one that wants to pay jury members for their stories.

Will see how the bill works, and if it does become a law.

Um, what exactly is the difference? Profit is profit. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Besides, people don't apply to be jurors on any cases. They are called to it. Why should they be sworn to secrecy after the case is over? Everything is in public records anyway.
 
People need to grow up and get over with Casey case. There people are worse than her! What about people who abuse their children? they are worse than Casey. You are selfish people.

Casey Anthony is being tried again in federal court. The government believes she is guilty, obviously.

The case you mentioned is NOT in motion, and is also, not set in stone. There is a petition to have her tried in Federal court. That's all.

Personally, I don't know if this will fly regardless of how people feel about the case. You can't retry her for murder, so what is there to charge her with?

As I said before, it's time for people to move on and find something else to worry about.

Me too. it can be sad if she admited she did or she is proven guilty, she won't be charged twice. She will be walking free but with angry people behind her.

Here's how I see it. Casey Anthony is the most hated woman in America. Her life is forever changed by the outcome of that trial. She'll never be able to walk out in public without drawing attention. She'll have to possibly undergo radical plastic surgery to change her looks JUST so she can stay safe. She won't be able to live in FL, so will have to move .....somewhere.

Life for Casey Anthony will be anything but easy. That smile she had on her face at sentencing changed REAL quick when she was sent back to jail, and I'm sure now that there's been a few death threats, she's not smiling anymore.

This is a woman who will have to watch her back for the rest of her life. So even though she's free, she's still in a prison. I believe this woman is mentally ill. I also believe we've not heard the last of her. Suicide is not out of the question here. She's going to be under tremendous strain for some time to come.

Casey Anthony is anything but free.
