Oh good grief! Seriously, with the prisons being strapped for cash and not to mention overpopulated, don't you think it's kind of far-fetched to arrest people for being in the buff?
Being arrested and serving a long prison sentence are two totally seperate issues. Arrest doesn't always result in a prison sentence.
In some countries, it's not illegal to be in the buff. In fact, there are nudist beaches in some places across Canada, including one in Toronto. It's just ironic that one can be nude at a beach but not in its own home with the windows open.
People who go to nude beaches go there with an expectation of experiencing nudity. People who walk thru residential communities taking their kids to school don't expect to have their kids exposed to nude adults.
Please. Nobody is going to be harmed by seeing a man in the buff.
How do you know? Do you know the exhibitionist's motive or possible plan? Do you know the sensitivity of children? Even here at AD there are adults who are sensitive to "triggers."
Seriously, what's the worst a person can inflict upon the society by being in the buff?
Seriously, why are people compelled to expose themselves to other people?
There's nothing wrong with "being" in the buff. The problem is exposing the experience to members of the public who don't wish to share in that experience.
I think people are overreacting. People have the right to be "disgusted" when they see someone in the buff, but they shouldn't have the right to tell people what they can and cannot do in their own homes. Even if the windows are open, just don't look.
What, people are supposed to walk around with their eyes closed? Passers-by can see what's happening in a lit room on a darkened street without actually peering into the window. Get real.
Neighbors walk by my house every day and look at the flowers, butterflies, and fountain in my front yard. I know they can also see my windows when they do that. So can the mailman, the newspaper deliverer, the kids waiting for the bus across the street, the garbage men, the recycling crew, the lawn debris pick up guys, etc. When the sun begins to set, I close the window shutters. How hard is that?
