Yanno, I'm reading all these posts since this morning....
Noticed a couple of things. I'm sure a lot of people have.
Sweetmind - what happened between you and Eve six years ago has NO bearing on the topic at hand. Why don't you stop harassing her about something that can't be changed? I personally find Eve to be a good person and I respect her opinion. If you don't, that's something else, but it's about time you let bygones be bygones.
Additionally, you've said "goodbye" a number of times and yet you come back and post/bash/nitpick some more where you see an opportunity. If you're finished, you're finished. State your opinion, concerns, whatever, but for the love of Lucius, stay on topic! Leave the past where it is - in the past. It was a joke...get over it, please - for your own sanity if not for the mental well being of those who have to sit through your posts and READ them.
As far as the offensive materials in question - some of us need to ask ourselves - is it REALLY and TRULY necessary to use some of the avatars we've seen? I mean, if I want to see a pulsating sphincter, I'll go to a nearby porn shop and get a movie. I've no interest in it. People come to message boards to read, share opinions, etc. Unless you're soliciting opinions on sphincters, what's the USE in posting a picture of it? WHY? WHY is it something the whole world has to see, especially when it's a potential insult to someone who's either a child, or offended by it for their own personal reasons? This is really all there is to it - some of us need to sit back and THINK before we post something. Is it in good taste? Is it NECESSARY????
Needless to say, you won't see ME posting anything that is potentially risky - because I wouldn't feel the NEED to resort to such matters. If it's something funny and worth sharing, there's always e-mail and/or more private means of doing so.
End of story.
