In the foot steps of Hear Again and typeing...

So do i!!! My braille teacher thought i was crazy for that i think, but i thought it was hilarious!!! :giggle:

I realized it when I brailled my coworker's name for him. His name is Andy. And he went, "what--my name is a box?" And then I realized, wow that is a box! <laugh>

yes... and i hate the thing...

why do you hate it?

i can't remember what braille reading primer i used since it was back in the mid 70s.

now that i think about it, i still might have it somewhere in my closet after all these years. if i ever come across it, i'll let you know the name of it.

cool. I hate it because it was boring, it was absolutely dull. i felt like i was back in first grade.

While we're on the topic of medical conditions, I have a question for anyone who can answer.

I have chronic joint pain. My body does not respond to painkillers of any sort. Does anyone have any techniques for coping with chronic pain? If you do I'd love to know. I'll try almost anything! Thanks.

nika,

you mentioned that your body does not respond to painkillers of any kind, but have you ever thought about taking lyrica? lyrica is excellent for controlling pain related to fibromyalgia.
