In the event of a WiFi failure......

I already addressed this before. You want to know why, go find the post where I said why I was doing it. I'm not repeating myself again.

Oh my. I don't need one, okay? Let's just say I was rudely woken up, and wasn't in the mood to be chatty earlier today, but I'm okay now, but I'll admit it-- I AM still a little cranky, but not as bad as before, though.

Oh hell no, I'm not gonna go through this board post by post looking for an explanation that someone was too whiny to provide. You can't expect everyone to follow every post you make.

Are you depressed? Does this forum made you more cranky?

The way I see it: This forum is like bunch of us talking to each other. We respond whenever we have something to say. Often times in a conversation, a person may say, "oh I forget why did you go on a trip?" The person would reply, "for business". People do not say, "I already said that (day/time you said it) I'm not repeating it again". Sometimes we repeat things simply because we don't remember every conversation, just like this forum.

Just chill and reply as if you were talking to a group of people.

It could be several things such as network cards, network protocols (b/n etc), physical construction of the building and even wifi settings. Not all network cards work with all routers. Some laptops might need to get the same brand card as the router to work properly. Also, does the router support wireless N and below? It's possible it might not work smoothly across all protocols. How old is the building? Are we talking wire mesh and horsehair plaster? Old buildings are not ideal for wifi or even phone traffic. Most importantly, is the router setup for the correct number of connections? Is there security where it is only looking for certain machine IDs?

Buying a new router might not even solve the problem. Each connection issue has to be looked at separately, I believe.

You can add hotspots to certain phones. It just costs extra.

Like Cricket ($10/month to add a hotspot) and T-mobile ($15/month to add a hotspot). These two are the only ones I know charge extra. However, Boost Mobile has free WiFi on their phones, and you don't have to pay for those.

And Do you believe him? Tried type with bold and it still see non-bolded till you clicked submit reply then you will see bolded. That's dont make sense to me since he can zoom in and no bold needs.

It looks like Mark is Ambrosia's wrath.

I think her secret priority is meet him in Chicago and attempt to fix him to meet her expectation.

I think it best we stay out of this.

Just sayin'.

If that's the case, then I'd better start booby-trapping this house Home Alone style. :hmm: Gonna need a few things, some of which I don't have at this moment. :dunno: how a Home Alone themed booby trap would work here. Anyways.... no one can fix me. I am who I am, and that's that. And I was joking...... literally.

I was just joking, anyways. I don't have the means nor the equipment to pull it off, anyways, and even if I did, there are a couple of things that could do some serious damage, and should not be tried in real life.

Yeah, you don't see it bolded until after you've made the post. As for me, I'm debating just putting him on ignore. The bolding triggers migraines for me.

If he's really serious about the bolding helping him check his mistakes, he can put it in bold, preview the post, then turn off the bold when he posts. It takes less effort to fix a post that way, it solves his needs, and it stops bothering other people. We'll all know if he's doing it just for attention, since now he knows how he can easily bold it and check it before posting.
