Wow, it's been a mourning week. Cody and I've been spending our time with the Stricklen family since last Tuesday night. Wednesday evening, everybody went to the accident scene for vigil candle night in memory of Samara Stricklen. Then spending again on thursday with family until they want "family time" on friday then again spent helping again on Saturday. Then sunday it was body viewing then finally yesterday it was funeral, oh so sad but Samara looked so peaceful. Now it's back to reality of life.
I learned how Samara got her name, her deaf father was once a pastor and was named after the person in the bible, can't remmy the specific detail, but named after this stranger whose a good samaritan.... Samartian= Samara
Which it's true, she tend to put everyone first before herself. We also found out right after the accident occur, she told the parademic to help the driver beside her, Seth, first whose did improve his health then got worse and went back to ICU and now in coma. I'll never forget what everyone in that church said a lot about Samara. May she rest in peace.
