i would say, it depends on who asked who out on the date.
 
On my first date, I insist on paying for dinner. Heck, I try to make the date go perfect. Now that I'm going out with "e", we take turns even though I pay most of the times and spoil her. :o
 
well I like to be share fair each other, of course I always pay first then my date or gf sure will like to share fair to treat on me. :)
 
well, if guy asks you out for a date...a guy should pay for dinner. Why expect girl to pay for dinner too if you asked her out for a date, eh?

Girl ask guy out for first date, girl pay dinner.

I feel the guy should, especially if he is the money maker. If the girl makes the money and she asks him for the date, then I would feel ok if she did.
 
I rather to pay the girl because it is gentle to do it and i agree with allisonjoy

Same here. My girlfriend and I work out agreements on who pays when. Sometimes, we pay at same time.
 
Yup, I agreed. I hate that part when me and the girl talked such as

the girl: "let me pay it for you."
me: "no, let me pay it."
girl: "no, I insisted that I PAY it."

back and forth.

*sigh* I hate that part. :sigh:

Oh well. Now I'm married, and I always take care of the "bill" business when we go out on a date without our boys. Now it doesn't bother me. :cool:
