I'm curious about all CI user.

DeafMama78, Thank you for sharing. No sorry need about long message. I love to hear from you and everyone. I am learning about CI before get receive CI. I will go back to school to learn English skill. My mom in the law will pay me for Speech Therapy. I had a lack of use voice for many years. I want to learn to speak. My throat's muscles get sore from voice practice.

I am still researching about CI at website, blogger and other. Thank you so much! :)

Thank you so much! I agree with you. I can't understand why Deaf people are anti-CI. That's stupid! If they don't want to get CI. If they keep talking about against ci. They will change their mind and want to get CI in future. They need to respect and accept everyone's choice. They can't change to CI user.

That's same with glasses. Because it need to read and see better. Some people don't have a leg to walk. They need to put a crutch to walk. CI is still in Deaf Community! No matter what! Blind people want to see and read better. They can get a surgery to see. That's same with CI to hear.

I didn't like the "Youtube" "Deaf STAY Deaf Why Cochlear implant" I really hate this video! It's very disgust! :eek2:

Example, For deaf blind people can't see very well. They can't hear anything. They are using a sign language and braille on papers to understand. If they are a blind pride. They can't see anything. It's very suffer with depress and emotion. It's same as CI need to hear. They can still use sign languages. It's nothing wrong! I don't like people who are anti-CI. It's ridiculous!

Everyone is different...not all will think nor want the same.

Some of my friends are anti-CI for very personal reasons and knowing those reasons, I cant blame them. Cant share them here but sometimes there are people who have very good reasons to be against CIs as long as they are not against the people who wear them. Big difference.

I understand. Everyone are different. But I don't like the video you know I mean? It's disgusted! I am honest with you. I used to be anti-ci before. Now I realized. I learned it from my third cousin. Ohh well. But I am still take a CI. I don't care what deaf people think about me. I want to be happy to hear my dad's play music. It's my choice.
