I wasn't aware of the new airline liquid policy....

This policy will not stay the same.. it will change over the time...

and put it in carry-on (but that was last Feb) so since TSA changed the policy so that means I still put it in suitcase instead of carry-on but I hate lost baggage that airports are famous for!

but I could opt not to bring toiletry along. I just could buy mini sized items that would be used up before the return trip. *shrug*

How about contact bottle? also same with eye drops to protect dry in contact.

Go re-read my post, I don't ask too many questions and just ask about zip lock, luggage and contact bottles. I asked boult because he wear contact lens but I have go to airplane in late 2006 and make sure to know about thing. I don't have videophone or TTY to call them but just tried to call them via reply and too hard to get it.

This thread is fucking confused then I will rather to take eye drops with me, around in pocket because I need it for prevent the dry and air can be change to affect my contact lens.

laketahoe, I understand what you said but I just ask question to boult about contact lens, that all.

Guys please :grouphug:...I truly can understand where Volcomskatz is coming from on this, first someone did bring up about formula which we just found out that mothers allowed to bring a small amount of baby formula on board which Jolie_77 did posted a link stating that now he wants to know about the eyes drops, like I said in my very first post that prescription medicines can be packed in the carry-on luggage if the label on the medicine has a name that matches the name of the ticket holder so if you have an eye drop that has prescription from your doctor, than you are allow to bring that on plane but if not, then no....

If you feel you're not sure about alot of things, you can always call the airline, and get more information on what you need to know before buying airline tickets, I won't be surprise if there may be some rules changes or add, sometimes asking questions are important so you know what to expect before arriving at the airport :)

I am aware that the policy will change over the time. That is why people need to check the policy before they fly on the plane to prepare themselves and to make it easier by going through the security checkpoint.

I'll be flying out in October, so which means I will have to put that in the suitcase as well. Funny, You say the checked baggages are known to be lost because baggage handlers doesn't handle it with responsibility. However, You're right, I've heard of lost baggages which happens all the time. I have always used the checked baggage and have not had any problem with it so far. One of the advantage of having a checked baggage is when you're having a layover, You don't have to bring the suitcase if you were having on the plane. It's less of the hassle.

I'm with Angel and Jolie_77 based on what they said in their post. It doesn't hurt to ask the airlines.

I did checked in my bags and the only thing I carried on board was my purse and 7 inches DVD player. ;)

Yes I´m agree that it won´t hurt to ask Airport or Travel Agency.

My son flew from Boston to Chicago last three weeks ago. We heard the terrorist were busted in London. He can carry those items in the luggage but not with him. He put them in the airport through the security. We cant carry them in our hands on the plane. I know, it is such pain in the @$$.

When I flew from Davenport Iowa to Reno NV for another rib cook-off show a couple of weeks ago I wasn't aware of all the rules by the United States Homeland Security advises passengers that they may no longer bring on liquids such as shampoo, conditioner, hair gel, beverages, creams/lotions , mouthwash, tooth paste, purfume etc in carry-on luggage but prescription medicines can be packed in the carry-on luggage if the label on the medicine has a name that matches the name of the ticket holder...I knew about the lighters but not the liquids until we saw a sign where you go through the security ...One of our crew had a carry-on luggage that had all her personal bathroom supplies such as toothpaste, shampoo, and etc, they made her throw it all away before she could board on the plane...:eek3: So be aware of what is and is not allowed on airplanes otherwise you might be stuck buying those items all over again ...

Has anyone here ever gone through something like this before?...
