Times have changed alot and its become stricter every year or so?

I tried to carry a little scissor and needles with me in the plane to sew my hobby, they took it off me and put it in cargo instead! :(

I remember in olden days I smoked a lot of cigarettes in a long distance plane between London and Australia - now its bad news for smokers!

This policy will not stay the same.. it will change over the time...

I stuff mines in this

and put it in carry-on (but that was last Feb) so since TSA changed the policy so that means I still put it in suitcase instead of carry-on but I hate lost baggage that airports are famous for!

but I could opt not to bring toiletry along. I just could buy mini sized items that would be used up before the return trip. *shrug*

Yeah I remember the old day that I smoked on the plane years before I quit smoking eh. then they finally banned smoking on flights in USA. I guess that also followed by all international flights later on.

No good, you will get trouble if you hide something from them...

We didn't know about this until last May - we were in London to attend my sister's funeral. Our last flight was in 2000/2001. Flight staff saw my cosmetic case cosmetic case - Google Bilder and tell me to not carry cosmetic case with me but leave it to cargo. I see no problem because I often leave cosemtic case to flight cargo instead of carry with me on the flight for years. Of course they asked me question which items, I have... -in bag? etc... If yes, which... I answered their questions which items I add in my bag... You will get in trouble if you miss their question. Use cosmetic case is okay to them but leave it in flight cargo.

No you do not need to buy new items again when you are over there... You can put your favorite hair gel, shampoo, etc in cosmetic case and leave it in flight cargo, not carry with you on the flight... That's all.

That's what I thought so... :eek3: I can't image that baby formular are not acceptance on the flight... Check with Travel Agency first before do something for safety.... because you want go somewhere for vacation with your baby...

That is what LakeTahoe meant by putting them in a suitcase that goes into the cargo. I agree with LakeTahoe that it is best to put them in a ziplock bag in case the liquids spill out. It has happened to me before.

Thank you for the link... It makes sense to me... I was like :confused: when some of posts saying about baby formula...

It'll be okay as long as you use comestic bag...

Yes use ziplock is safety... I'm agree. I misread her post about "zip" like what Volcomkatz thought the same... Occchhh...

I used to crochet or knit on the plane... It look like that I'm not allow to knit or crochet anymore in the future... :(
 
I think all of you need to read newspaper often, or you can sign up to have them send e-mail you the break news or somewhere important news.

Or keep peek on news on TV. :D
