cut up your credit cards, burn the cheque books, arrange auto-payment via a secondardy bank acounts just for biils, and learn to live with cash
works for me
That's exactly what I did, closed all of my banks and only use the cash or money orders.

what a lot of people do is cut out the luxuries! no credit cards, no going out to eat or anything like that! there was a couple on oprah who did that! they made all of their dinners from scratch and used the extra money they saved to pay their bills and put into savings! so perhaps if the store is within walking distance you could walk or if you have a bicycle you could take that!
also, at least in iowa, the hospital cant send you to collections as long as you are paying SOMETHING! even if it is $10 a month, as long as you are making some sort of payment you wont get into trouble! so yes it can be done!
i would stay away from any credit cards! they're not a good idea if you dont know how to manage your money or are already in trouble with money..just my thoughts though.
Yup, Directv and Dish TV has 2 years contract, you can't cancel until contract is expire or you will charge on early termination fee (ETF) and ETF isn't cheaper to terminate it, such as $175 ETF on service from att wireless but not know about how much fee will terminate on Directv.
If you did terminate on contract then you will get bad credit history, it will make you to pay deposit on future service, it can be from att to comcast, Directv and Dish TV.
You can call Directv to cut some of channel package, like change from full package to family package or something like that.
Yeah I know. We made mistake to get marry when he is student. But it's okay. We are together for 4 half years then married. We are happy. The important is number one LOVE than the money. I do watch hulu on internet. My husband love it too. I have to talk with my husband about directv and comcast. I know he can't live without tv. You know how men are!
That what I told Lucia. I can't rid of internet. I can rid of phone that all.
I am telling you what? I have no problem with directv. We paid directv for over 2 years since we moved other apartment. I live in same apartment since almost 2 half years.
Is your DirectTV also your internet provider? Cellphone + Internet = A MUST for me!!! and pretty much A MUST for many people. It's not really that expensive but it's the extra luxury items that's eating up the cost like cable tv, utilities, gas, eating out, movies, etc. Your husband will have to try to survive w/o cable but he's not going to miss out anything . There are plenty of shows to watch online like hulu
I'm not ask you to cancel, I just warn you, usually for consumer who still on 2 years contract.
If you are on after 2 years contract then you can cancel in anytime without any fee.
Well. My internet and phone company are Verizon. My husband said will rid of verizon and change to comcast or directv. I don't know if directv have internet. He will figure it out. You're right about my husband didn't like to miss his favorite tv show on dvr. LoL. We don't go to Theater or Cinema that much. We didn't need it. We can rent a dvd movie from blockbuster that all.
Directv don't have internet, it's just tv network.
For internet, you can goes to att or comcast if your area offers att.
Okay. I will miss directv because of my favorite channel is HGTV and DIY. If i miss the show. I will go to HGTV - Decorating, Home Improvement, Remodeling, Gardening & Landscaping Ideas : Home & Garden Television or B&Q Online: From Kitchens & Bathrooms to Sheds & Paving; plus planning tools. I will talk to my husband about comcast. But I need to go now. We are going to festival right now. TTYL
