Canada is a nice place, as is the States... they're different, but each has it's good points and it's flaws.
The Pacific Northwest can be, and often is, very cold AND wet...so the cold, while the temperatures aren't as low as in other parts of the country, just gets right into your bones.Gee, wonder if I could get hubby to move to the Pacific Northwest in Canada? I know he likes Alaska, but that's too extreme. I just can't take snow and cold weather anymore.

I am on the "Wet Coast" and we have had major rain-and-wind storms the last four nights... cold and wet and windy... yuck!
I can relate to that after living in Esquimalt with no coastal protection!
I still prefer PNW's weather to Alberta's bipolar weathers.
+40 in summer, -40 in winter. Are you insane for living there?
