I have a question for you, Aussies

Only in China, right? I guess Aussie's following the trend :laugh2:

:laugh2: Yes only in China or perhaps the Fear Factor on tv?.

The TV document about Australian tarantulas somewhere in Ayers Rock.

I witnessed black and yellow spider slept corner between ceiling of wood garage when I was in Australia... :Ohno: I showed my boys because they want to see real life, not just they saw in Zoo... :giggle: They were like  and went off quiet case spider would jump on us... :Ohno:

Ah, that's interesting about the TV document. I haven't seen a wild Australian tarantulas yet. But I have seen redback spider (one of the poisonous spider).

Interesting about your experiences with the black and yellow spider. I did googled up "Spiders of Australia". Is this black and yellow spider you saw is on that site? Spiders of Australia with information and pictures

As I was looking on that site I haven't seen other spiders in Australia and amazed to see how brightly colors they are and they are different too (asides all spiders have 8 legs hah).

One thing in that website caught my eyes the white tail spider, a Australia white tail spider is different from New Zealand white tail spider.

:ty: for post the Australian spiders here, SG.

St. Andrew´s cross or Redback... but it must have YELLOW and black but it´s exact St Andrew´s cross but have same form as Redback.

You're welcome, Liebling. :)

Ah cool, that must have been a huge spider for sure Liebling.

Jiro, I'm sure you would enjoy having a different flavors of each deep-fry Australian spiders for a 6 course dinner meal and last one is dessert spider. (kidding)

I would try fried Trantula! I also want to try fried scorpins too. I've tried fried Mealworms, it tasted good and crunchy with bbq flavor.

Ever wonder if anyone tried fried froglegs!?? I've eaten plateful of them. Tasted like chicken. I challenged my sons to try it and they love it!! Gladly they followed my suit!

I've eaten cow brains when I was little seriously!!

I would only eat if it's dead and cooked except for roadkills.. (how about Roadkill BBQ sauce with instruction on how to cook Roadkills ... Road Kill BBQ Sauce ) :rofl2:

No kidding!

Catty

When mom and I in South, had fried frog legs....many years ago -

I can't imagine eating insects of any kind. :ugh:

You would be surprised at how many insects you may have eaten. USDA allows certain amounts of larvae in flour, rice, etc. Processed with all the grubs!!!
