I have a question for you, Aussies

Wouldnt that be dangerous to eat a tarantula due to all the venom?

my assumption -
1. you must cut the head off or certain body part that holds the venom
2. venom's already dead after you deep-fry it

:dunno:

yes I ate a bag of it exactly like in that pix and it's EXTREMELY DELICIOUS & CRISPY - full of proteins, zero fat. You can order a bag of it online if you want.

WHAT?! No " Jiro's Bag of Fried Mealworms for $19.95? "

If one was hungry enough. Perhaps.

Or in for a challenge to try it.

Never have seen a Tarantula, let alone ate one. I doubt this creature is a native to Australia, so how could we fry one then?

Better look to Asia or *gasp* America for answers.

Eww, I only seen Tarantula at the zoo, but I have never seen any Aussies eating a spider.

oh it wasn't with frying oil otherwise it'll be quickly burnt. just pour some olive oil on the pan and cook it at high heat quickly. it'll be crispy quickly after few minutes.

I tried my best to describe you from what I learn from saw on TV last week.

A man pressed hard on tarantula body and then removed the fangs & wash the tarantula without cut them... I wasn´t realize that he was going to fry the full body taranula without cut them into piece...

I went off to kitchen as I saw him fried the dead tarantula but I don´t know either he eat tarantula or not after finish fried because I don´t want to see further and stay in kitchen until the document over then Obama...

Yes deep fried to remove venom...

This is different as the video I posted few minutes ago.
