Hurricane matthew

Glad you are doing well. Hang in there. The outer bands of Mathew just hit us this am and gave us a lot of rain but no winds. Now, it seems to be clearing up (nightime) and I just saw why. The storm is moving eastward now so the bands are moving away from the Baltimore area...

My brother returned to his home today but I havent heard any updates about his area today. He said it was a 5 hour drive back to St. Augustine from Clearwater due to several people returning and lots of flooding on the roads. That was 6 hours ago and I havent heard from him since then.

FSDB where my brother works at endured big time damage...I have several friends who live in ST. Augustine and they are sharing vidoes and pics of FSDB...holy cow!!!

friend of mine lives near St.Augustine got her home and truck flooded above 7 feet of water. But she is safe and alive.

I am sure those insurances are starting to move to Northern States.

The coastal areas in northern states aren't immune because many of them got hit by Hurricane Sandy.

At 3:05 am we got an automated phone call telling us that our power was back on. It is not back on.

Well, Matthew changed his mind and came further up the coast before turning out to sea. We're getting heavy rain from Matthew's outer bands and will get some winds.

Very windy here in MD from Mathew. My Halloween decorations were blown around and now there is a mess in my front yard. Some of my decorations ended up on the street.

However, I still havent heard from my brother or his wife since yesterday morning. Keep texting them...no reply.

Hope for you they will be fine too!
Fingers crossed

They finally texted...they said they were stuck at a highway trying to get into St. Augustine for hours due to crews cleaning off debris and the signal towers for his phone service was down. When they got home, they just went right to sleep. No damage at his house. Wow...very lucky!!!!!

Bad idea! A lot people had damages from a winter we had a few years back . Roofs caved in from the weight of the snow , my ceiling had water stains and I am on the first floor.
