The news announced that The Carolinas will keep their state of emergency status for Ike too. I guess the likely path will lead it to the Carolinas. :eek3:

However, I hope our ADers buds in the Bahamas will be ok.

My cousins is in South florida. I heard hurricane might hit south florida. But I will pray for ADers in Bahamas.
 
I'll just brace through the hurricane by standing next to the leaning treee

My mom's starting to get nervous about Ike. She wants me to take the little ones up to my uncle's in Hernando. The problem is, the hurricanes are so huge that it wouldn't make sense to go there instead of staying here. So we'll watch how Ike tracks in the next few days and make the right decision. Fay was not over us, but was big enough to affect us for a few days. Talk about a sunny day with strong rain on and off with the sun in the sky!

With Ike coming, the red Hurricane collars are going back on my dogs.

Oh no! I saw the hurricane Ike is in South Florida and Bahamas on tracker. I hope it's safe for Florida Residents. Just keep pray.

my bf's parents have a condo there i hope there will be no damage..they are going up there in 3 weeks so if there is they can fix it. Hope everything is ok down there and good luck and stay safe

My Mom is freaking out, big time. *sigh* We're in the "cone of concern", though, so no one living in FL should take this storm lightly. The anxiety, though, is brutal.

I hate hurricane season! :(
