Hurricane Hanna

I remember when Hugo swung through the Carolinas, no big deal with the extreme downpours, but I am keeping my eye on Hanna Montana! LOL
No big deal!!!? You obviously didn't experience Hugo near Charleston. It was horrible devistation.

Charleston County is in OPCPON 2 now, and the gov has issued voluntary evac of the northern coast.

Hanna is no big deal a hurricane or TS to me even for the Carolinas either, I believe. But otherwise, I'm excited for it passing us by to cool us down. :D

But Ike is something else we ought to consider real time! It goes 140 mph right now with a plenty of path to strengthen on its way toward the USA.

I was referring to the upstate region, of course I understand Charleston was totally inundated at the time. As far as I observed, we only received heavy downpours, I cannot account for the rest of the state as I was not there, not to mention the main wind damage was strictly limited to the coastal plains into NC, VA, and MD.

LOL We're talking huge waves here dude! You wipe out, you're crushed dead!

With the extreme sorts, they ought to check out the hurricane initiated waves out east for the ride!

Let's all pitch in some money and send imdeafsowhat to the nearest wall of water in that region. Just wait for Ike to be a Cat 5 first.

That's not very funny, Tousi. Cat 5 hurricanes are life threatening. We are below sea level where I live. A category 5 hurricane would annihilate the area I live in.

I hate it when people think it's so cool to take their surf board and surf the big waves; while others are evacuating knowing that they might not have a home to come back. :(
