Hurricane Earl

"Hello, my name is Hurricane Earl"
 
A bit wind there and here. Gonna move my truck away from tree tonight to avoid it possibly get damaged from gust.

Gonna probably get tropical storm type of weather around here. But for those on coast, ouch. Hopefully people will keep themselves safe.
 
I think it would be SOOOO cool to work with Air Force/NOAA division that gets to fly all around inside the hurricanes gathering data. :D

Really?! Wow!! Just goes to show just how big this storm is! A day or two ago, when it was just E. of Puerto Rico, we were feeling some wind effects from the storm when it was a Cat 4. It was quite windy here that day.

Just heard from my big sister. She says my niece is staying with her.

I will go get a new one. It good to have one . I once left the stove when i got phone call , the smoke alarm when off but I did not hear it, my hearing dog warned me , he saved the day! He was so proud of himself!
 
Know we're gonna get some heavy rain and wind....stocked up on bottled water today...trying to think "where" I'm gonna put my outdoor furniture and hanging plants???...Utility room is packed....guess the Living room is gonna have to look like a jungle until all this is over....
 
My poodle been acting stange today , he been staying close to me at time with his tail down and did not want to go out to pee. I think he is feeling the storm come on. Any one have farms animals that acting strange, I heard
cows will huddle together before a storm hit.

I saw it on the Weather Channel that MD is getting rain from the outer bands of Earl. I hope that's ALL you get!

Really? We desperately need the rain...What parts of MD? No rain here so far.
