still don't see anywhere that shows Hitler was a socialist because Hitler's view does not coincide with the concept of socialism. If that's the case... then were American ancestors socialist too? Hitler's view is based on his outdated view of old conservative Christian way where everybody takes care of each other and where everybody is of same race, same view, same religion, same etc. That's what our colonies used to be like, right?

Can we just enjoy the Court decision without getting into the "what is socialism" debate?

well ... according to this guy .. Hitler was a socialist:

HITLER WAS A SOCIALIST

he also made private gun ownership illegal.

You might try using some academic sources from political and sociological sources. A "This article is published on the Internet only" smacks of some moron's opinion.

Yep. I'm sure all the guys and gals on the Southside are having victory parties as we speak.

Ok, switching topic .... Hitler was an atheist :giggle:

sorry, couldn't resist Reba

"Unequivocal?" The Court says that restrictions are okay, but not what kinds.
Expect a whole slew of lawsuits soon.

That's the problem. There are other "back door" ways to restrict gun ownership or practical use.

Some tricks they've tried are marking the ammo, increasing sales taxes and fees, making citizens jump thru hoops for registration, delaying registration approvals, gun locks, etc.

that's NJ to you :mad2:

What does socialist and left wing has with gun right issues? Look at Germany, their government is between conservative to moderate but they do have strict gun restriction so label is unnecessary because there are people, regardless on political parties are against or for gun rights. UK government is running by conservative too but their gun law is far strict. Look at NJ republican governor, Chris Christie and he is anti-gun rights.

Sorry, Washington gun ban already overturned by US Supreme Court in 2008 and look at Jiro's post, he said something about DC in other thread.
AllDeaf.com - View Single Post - Justices extend gun owner rights nationwide

I'm sure that Chicago will be same as DC does, it doesn't means US Supreme Court give a totally gun rights to citizens after ruled gun ban as unconstitutional. Chicago may adopt restriction rather than ban.

My dad is a conservative and he has been anti gun for many years until a few years ago.
