Been tough for the first few days.
Very tired in the morning :squint: :squint: :squint: .
I dislike it when it's 7:30 close to 8pm and it's still LIGHT OUT.
Hub and I took our girls for a long ride in the van
because they just weren't settling down. We got
them a snack, and came home around 8, read them
some stories and they were in bed by 8:30.

So how have you guys been handling it?

I didn't know we need to change our time until I realized my sidekick's clock is one hour ahead of all manual clocks at my home. :pissed: I was upset that I have lost an hour of my day (when I found out about this change, it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon-- actually 4 o'clock).
There is a positive thing about this time change-- that the sun is still out at 7pm-- it was frightening for me to walk to my car in dark all by myself at 7pm after a class ends at 6:30pm. My university has a record of burgarly and sexual assults outside around the campus, especially in the parking lots.
I have asked my husband frequently to come with me when I had to swing by my school to get something at nighttime. Now I don't have to worry anymore.
Isn't it a shame that women have to worry about themselves in the darkness?

(I can go on and on about one movement called "taking back the night" which is advocating awareness for women to take self-defense and men to understand women's situation in regards of being afraid to walk to their cars, homes, etc alone when there are rapists/murderers/sickos waiting for them around the corners... ahh I already went on and on about this. :) )

Getting used w/it backward or foward clock... cuz I used live in Eastern Standard..
*sigh* but hate changing every where the clock time move forward or backward.. (ugh) pain ass!

Getting tired earlier then usual. But I will manage to get back to my normal self. Yikes !!!

Better today. I stayed up late the other night and woke up early for work. Man, my system was out of whack.

I get to go to the bank 1 hr earlier in my biological time.

It has been damn hard. I keep waking up at 4 am, thinking it is 5 am. I went to work at 5:30 AM this morning because I couldnt sleep in.

Fortunately I am flying out to New Orleans tomorrow which has 2 hour difference than out here so I will be able to adjust to CST time :) :bump:

I actually forgot all about it.... I was out the nite of the time change and my friend was like hey its 3am, and im like what no its not its only 2 im still out partying woooo... Yea she was right I was wrong lol

I'm used to it because i tend to wake up early in mornings lately around 730 or 830 am ever since for about 2 months or so... But loving the sunny outside for a long day :)

yeah I went to bed real late and woke up early.. like 5am this morning then went back to bed .. then woke up again at 6am.. I was like eh? not used to the change of time but I guess that will be that way for a while longer ;) cuz I'm always up earlier before Iwud wake up 6:30am but not anymore 6am.. for now blah and I am not scared of dark at night but my mom always worry about me bleh. but now I'm happy it'll be light longer til after 7pm so I can be out late ;)

Still trying to get used to it. I like when days are longer that way I can cut grass til it starts losing light. That helps alots because I live in the country with alot of grass.

I am dealin' with it just mighty fine. I am used to it afterall. :)

Same as here, went to bed at 9pm last night, I was all whacked out......

I wonder how many extra sleepy people there are in the world this far after the actual change.

I wonder if the time change affects work productivity and increases the likelihood of automobile accidents due to the disruption of sleep schedules.
