I never have a good night's sleep--another bonus from Parkinson's, thank you. I also disturb TCS with my night screams, talking, and thrashing (sometimes I hit him in my sleep). I wake up several times during the night. Oh, well.
With PD it's not about relaxing. It's just one of those weird brain-related functions that goes haywire.I had to stop sleeping with my ex husband b/c he throw his arms all over the place and one night I woke b/c his arm landed on my face and almost split
my lips and just about gave me a black eye. Would talking a warm shower help you relax ? I had a client that had really bad arthritis and could not sleep very good , so her health aides gave her a warm shower before going to bed and it help her sleep a little better.

The only activity that helps me feel better is large-muscle activity, such as a brisk walk, using the treadmill or my pedal equipment, exercising with weights, gardening/yard work, or housework. Not the best activities at bed time.
Thankfully, TCS is tough enough to bear it.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
I know of an exercise you and TCS could do together and it might help you both sleep better.

Her hubby TCSRR who are you calling a 'him'?
I don't exercise enough but I fell asleep while reading on the internet or Facebook. That would last a couple minutes or so every time. I tried drinking Pepsi or Thirst Quencher or ice water which help not to feel drowsy. I don't understand why I don't want to go to bed and am not comfortable sleeping in my own bed. I guess maybe it is because I miss my husband so much that his presence is not there with me anymore. I don't know.
Also, I have Tinnitus, too. The noises in my head is bothering me a lot. Oh, well, I try to ignore that.
