Feeling pretty good today. Took my mom out for breakfast and then shoe shopping.
It's a beautiful day here today, I sat out in the sun for twenty minutes to get some vitamin D.

My heart is sad though for all the people experiencing such grief.

Annoyed, super annoyed with my boss.

I tried to give my 2 weeks notice, I may have mentioned that she's not known for letting people give them. Well, she wanted to know if they needed me right away, I said yes, but I'm pretty booked up the next couple days. She looks at the schedule, says okay how about I work you through saturday and you can start at the other place next week. But she's afraid I'm going to "steal" her clients. Okay that's cool.

Then I do two massages, after I finished the 2nd I go in the break room to wash my hands and check the computer, she moved my massages in the afternoon to other therapist and had me off" the rest of the day. Sent me home 4 hours early. oookaaay SO I look at the next couple days. I had a lot of requested therapist appts, people who asked for me, and a few prospects, people that have never been there. She moved all the prospects and blocked all my open spots so I wouldn't get any more appointments. Fine whatever.

Then tonight I'm at my kids band concert, that was noisy let me tell ya!!, I get a text from her, thanking me for my service but I will no longer be needed she will mail me my last check.

I needed the cash tips I would have gotten today, and the next couple days. Then she's all, "you said they could use you right away, I thought I was giving you what you wanted". WHAT?! You text me at 6:22 and you think I can tell them I can start tomorrow?? Are you that dumb, or do you think I'm so dumb I believe you?? I shouldn't have even told her. I should have told the new place I'd start on this Tuesday and just worked the rest of this week and just not show up at Massage Envy on Tuesday like I would have, just gone to my new job Wellness One, let them figure it out I quit. I should have seen it coming. I knew she never lets people give a 2 week notice, but I'm not the kind of person that would leave someone in the lurch like that. She is apparently.

You're better off letting it go. She will get hers someday.
 
Happy that it's Saturday! I woke up super-early again. I never seem to be able to sleep in on weekends. I do have a diabetic cat that needs her insulin shot at 7 am, so I suppose my body has gotten used to that schedule. I went out and got some great coffee. Coming back home, I saw that one of the dogs was barking at something outside, which 1) is rather unusual for her anyway, and 2) especially unusual at that hour. Surprise! A doe in the backyard. I snapped some photos. We get all kinds of wildlife in our area, but I think the first time for me seeing a doe. So it's been a nice Saturday morning so far.
 
Feeling much better today...it's just the weather that isn't cooperating with my mood....(rainy and wet)....
 
think i got some bit of food poisoning on now, from the shaved ham, it wasnt even 2 days old, but i suspect it was older than 2 days from that deli!..feels like an old tyre (tire) is floating inside my gut, isnt much fun..other than that just fine...i hardly ever eaten an off food, i'm usually pretty careful...just saw my neighbour who was a butcher (retired) said shaved ham dont hold well better to buy proper slice, so thats it.

After a week of enormous work tasks and overtime, I'm sleeping in for the day! I feel bad about telling my friends if I'm disturbed, I'll be holy hell to live with! But really... :giggle:

Sucks to be you, Grummer...as I had it from a hot dog cart...sick as a dog!...And my friend emailed me a few days ago, she got it from the Dairy Queen (of all places)....Seems if we're not being mugged....bombed...then they're trying to kill us with food poisoning!...:giggle:...I haven't touched a hot dog since....even tho' I do love 'em....

Feel it takes 2 days to get over it (or was my case)....
 
Out of shape. Haven't "walked" since Monday due to being sick then getting laid off work on Thursday. I did do some mowing (1st time this year) on Fri, some again yesterday and now an trying to finish up. And I can't blame the heat because it's in the low 60's here.
Remind me why I turned down my landlord's offer to arrange lawn care for me for this year when my mower died last fall. Oh, yeah, I figured the new lawmmower was less expensive.
 
i was thinking do some gardening as been loverly day same as you the lawn..means clearing everbody;s cat crap off me lawn,,trying figure out best time lay lawn,counting how many crested newts in my pond(THhey rare protected amphibians in uk)and now i cold

I have 2 weeks where I am an in-active employee (had to leave the premises as soon as I packed up my desk) & will get two weeks severance pay.

My boss & his boss are going to pass my resume on to some contacts they have.
