bot get dr do thyroid and b12 levels done....sometimes they come back ok but that dont mean you not got it....if put on that medication you know you have....your symptoms are typical of those conditions

I know I do have low thyroid. That was diagnosed at age nine. :)
 
Happy! My grandson has finally made his appearance. He arrived @ 7:43 (MT) today weighing in at 8 lbs 6 ozs and is 20-1/2" long.
Don't have pics available online yet to post.

i hope you on thyroxin bot....many people with fibramylia are underactive tyroid...it cause pain at cellular level..dont let dr give you kiss off,they would here with that condition we been having on going arguments with medical people to take it serious

Much better after getting out today, but way too hot in house. Glad mowing is done.
 
I am feeling HOT. Today and next few days 106, 108, 109, 108. This is getting old!!!

Martin Everett is his name. Named after the parents best friend (through whom they met) and my father's & brother's middle name (was a surprise to me).

I'm told he takes after his dad's side of the family.

Yes, my first grandchild. They live across the country from me, so I will be traveling out there later this week to spend time with them....then back home for work and to help my younger daughter adjust to college life (though she'll be living at home).

I'm having mixed emotions today. As any parent will go through this - Today's the first day of back-to-school for both of my sons. Both are in middle school (first year for the youngest, last year for the oldest). I'm happy for them but at the same time, the momma side of me is sentimental. I actually choked up a little bit when I watched them walk together in the building, haha.

The house is too quiet without them. I can't wait to hear what they have to share for their first day of school.
 
He's really cute!...Waiting on lots of kisses and snuggles from you, I bet! And don't listen to the parents about "spoiling him"....it's ur right! :giggle:...Congrats....(and I'm jealous!)

Won't be able to spoil him (too much). Can't afford it and we don't live close to each other. I'll leave that to the other grandmom, who lives in DE too and probably can't afford to spoil him either.

Speaking of jealous of grand kids. My mom would read the obits and make comments "this lady died and left xx grandkids". My mom had 2 grandkids already (my brother's), but he was the only one of 6 kids married. I would say "You want me to give you a grand child?". My not being married at the time, she'd say, of course, "NO!". Eventually I gave her 2 more grand kids and she lived long enough to see one great-grand child.
