Extremely "happy go lucky" today....got the rest of the staples out behind my ear....and doc said the ear looks just great!...A little drainage is to be expected, but will clear up.....So relieved....stopped by the cornor store and got me a candy bar and a soda.....

:) That's really good news! I hope your eye problems resolve as well.

RR that is great news!!! Are you still going to cut your hair? My "surgery" haircut is about 1&1/2 inches long now. My hair is longer so you can't really see the shaven part. Keep up thr good healing!!!!!,

Been pining my hair back off the ears for several weeks...have gotton quite used to it by now....have ointment that I have to use (behind the ear) to retard infection...(and my hair gets greasy if I don't pin it back from the ear)....so a real short and "pixy" cut would be best I believe. Cool for the summer also...and my grey/white roots are showing :giggle:

Feeling a bit sad. Trying to keep positive about all that's going on. Really think it's the isolation getting to me. On the outs with my family for a while now and my friends are married or might as well be married. So facing the hearing issues and personal issues without the usual support. I spoke to 3 people today, counting a cashier.

You will look great with a pixie hair cut. As for the grey I know what you mean, but I believe I earned every one of them.:laugh2: Marley is so supportiive that she is turning grey too:cool2:

Sorry your feeling so down. A lot of us here face isolation on a daily basis. I have many days where most conversations are with my dog:laugh2: Hang in there, things will get better.

Since January 2008. That's when I was ill with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

So it left me with facial nerve paralysis and the auditory nerve damage that causes the tinnitus.

Thanks. Going to head out for a bit today. My dog and I aren't on the best of terms:lol: Yesterday he pooped in front of the mower (again). Then last night when it was storming, I went to get him in and he had left a package at the bottom of the steps. I'm sure he was hiding in the bushes, snickering.

Yeah, I should. I'm a bit awkward there. Like when you start a new school, and you want to fit in so you kinda hide those geeky/nerdy things.

Well, Geeky/nerdy is good with me. I am the same :P But i know what you mean so it's ok.

Cool morning at the moment here in Toronto and getting ready for work: Beat the clock swimming Main sq. 11.30 today.
No unretired slackers,

Enjoying the cool morning and light rain. Fun to take the dogs out to the yard and watch the enjoying it too. :)
