I am feeling so tired. I have not ever been a morning person. It'd be nice to have a job where I can sleep all day! Wait...is there a PhD in sleeping I could obtain?

This is not a PhD job but you could be overnight security officer. However if you do become one, let me know so I will know to avoid that area.

Am tired and achy. I already know the cause and it's only going to get worse before getting better. It's weather related and we have storms moving through and the major part should hit us in the morning.
You're cursed/blessed with a "body barometer"?

I don't take Benadryl on regular basis - just reserved for severe allergy or colds because of made me sleepy (drowsy).
Yes, that's one of the things I hated about Benadryl. That's why I like Allegra--no drowsiness.

I get hay fever as well but have found that taking Quercetin is the best preventative medicine. I start taking in february and it works really well in preventing the hay fever attacks in the first place.

Watching something on the internet helps, but takes a long time, whereas going out on a motorcycle and speeding like crazy or even in the car, seems to be a very quick solution to my anxiety. Could it be some sort of natural thing like adrenaline or something else being released during fast driving that overpowers anxiety?

Im not sure it right but it could be the feeling of having control. Really you will find a way. I still have some anxiety attacks but its not as bad as before. Ea h peraon has to find their own way to get over them. But it soes not mean you are alone on it.

It's all related to my fibromyalgia and neuropathy. So yeah, I have that "body barometer". I can tell when the air pressure is going up or getting heavier on joints, can tell when it's gonna rain, and different things like that. Have had a 90% success rate for a number years.

Lucky: everyone I know and encounter are so sick or feeling ill. Either the pollen got to them or all the weather changes is making them sick. My household has only had minor issues.

Hope everyone feel better very soon.

It seems that different meds work for different people. I think we each have to find what works best. I'm glad that there are choices out there. :)

Maybe you could have your own program on the Weather Channel. :)

Went for a nice brisk walk around the neighborhood with TCS. Felt good. :)

Just curious, how far in advance can you tell??

Speaking of allergies-- my worst one is dust. I can get severely sick from touching a lot of dust. Happened once already.

Just for future reference.... in a medical situation... we don't even classify dust as an allergy.... Why? because EVERYONE is allergic to dust or has some sort of reaction to it.... Get dust up your nose, you sneeze or react... plain and simple. Why? Because of what dust is made of.... Everyone.... everyone.... has a reaction to dust... everyone....

Hmm. Then why is it labeled as such, I wonder? Thing is, I physically touch too much dust, I can get very sick. Otherwise, it's not a big deal if I sneeze because of dust-- touching a certain amount of dust is a big no-no for me.

Well driving helps calm a lot of people down. I wouldn't really say driving really fast around would be good because not only are you putting your life at risk but tons of other peoples at risk. Not really fair to go out speeding like a demon from hell and not care about others lives in jeopardy.... not very considerate if you ask me... If you don't care about speeding and putting your life in that risk, that's your own choice but you're putting others at risk and that's pretty messed up. Driving is a privileged, not a right. You need to take it as such. Going around driving like a bat out of hell because you're anxious and risking peoples lives is no reason because you want to curb a little anxiety. Go for a walk, read a book or go run. There are tons of other ways to curb anxiety. If I'm anxious, I go for a CALM drive on my bike or in my car listening to music loudly. The last thing you need feeling anxiety is more rush rush.

I'm not sure how do you get sick from touching dust. do you sniff your finger after touching dirt?

I don't know how I got sick, either, but it may have been SOMETHING inside of it that got me that way. We never did figure out how I ended up that way, but it was bad-- I was very weak, and not have a lot of energy. Took about 10 days to recover from that, and get my strength back.

Because back when it was labeled as an allergen. Doctors weren't seen as often back when so it wasn't common knowledge as it is today. It has just stuck to it. It's now just common knowledge. When you go into see your doctor if you tell them you're allergic to dust just watch their face and you'll get an eye roll or a subtle sigh. That's our face telling you that we were asking you a serious question and expecting a serious answer and not asking you if you were allergic to something everyone is allergic to. That's also us wanting to slap you or already have slapped you in our minds for giving us a stupid answer. :D Sometimes when I ask people their allergies I say "Are you allergic to anything that isn't dust or mold." Or "Do you have any allergies, and if you say dust that's not an allergy." You aren't prescribed Clariton for an DUST allergy! Think about it.... ( Well now that's OTC but it wasn't years back. )
