Oh my are you ok? That looks bad it may need stitches!!! :naughty:

Friday is my laundry day... :laugh2: Though, I don't run around half naked on laundry day, that's every day... :laugh2:

Where are you moving to, Kristina...and the House you just built?....

In about 4-5 years, we are moving to upper NW Washington state. We will be selling the house after getting the last few things done. The decision to do this was purely my husband and his frustrations with his mother. Things have gotten worse with her since we moved into the piece of crap converted garage. I was all excited about it, but as time went on, we have noticed more and more the shoddy work that was done. Ice maker had to be replaced, fridge and stove have had to be replaced, washer/dryer have had to be replaced and we can't get up to change or replace lightbulbs until we buy a new ladder. Tried to hang a picture and the texture coat over the drywall just chipped off and now there's a big hole in the wall. He never did the exterminating of the ground or existing building and we have everything crawling through here. Can't have an exterminator come out due to the dog and cat. It is more stressful than I thought it would be and we are all sick of it. If MIL is not gone before we leave, then "oh well", we are leaving anyway. Hubby talked with her about it all and she agrees it might be better all the way around if we go, but we do have to complete the house and then get the money together for the move. We already have about 10 people wanting to buy the house and paying almost double of what's left on the mortgage.

looks like you'll be able to sell the house, despite your woes!

Today was a Good Day for me. Week End. Says it all :)

I think you should call a doctor. In my professional opinion i thibk you have a cut.

:laugh2: Thankfully, that's not my finger... (very manly finger there) However, if it was I would have called an ambulance, REST ASSURED! :P

I woke up feeling about 20% or so better than yesterday. Thankfully my immune system is a beast... I'm sure all this Nyquil is helping too... :P

Helps make you sleep easy... :)

Mew I don't know if it would help but my grandparents cure all was corn whiskey with rock candy dissolved in it they even used to give it to us kids when we were sick. After a dose of it we didn't car if we were sick or not.

That sounds... like it tastes... disgusting... :laugh2:

I have the alcohol tolerance of a god..... so it would be the flavor I'd be noticing, not its effects! :laugh2:

Ahh, a girl after my own heart... lots of CLOTHS! :D :laugh2: :run: :D

If only I could afford more clothes.. :'( Then again, I'm living out of my car/ backpack all over this city, so, perhaps the less for now, the better?

Feeling sort of frightened. Two days ago my brother told me that one of my two sisters was in ICU with sytemic infection and in critical condition. My other sister was staying at her house and informed my brother that she saw my sick sister pick up the phone last Tuesday to call 911, but her husband grabbed the phone and told her "You need rest."
Two days ago one of my sister's eyes was unresponsive to light, a bad sign.
Yesterday neither of her eyes were responsive, a VERY bad sign.
I am going to the hospital today after work to see her.
I hope she pulls through.
If she doesn't make it, I am frightened of what I might do.

Beowulf, so sorry to hear this - sounds terrifying. And really upsetting that her husband stopped her from calling 911 (!!?)

I hope she'll be ok.

I hope you'll be ok!

How does your sister know that the other sister picked up the phone to call 911? I am thinking he may not have known and was saying that with the idea that she needed rest rather than being chatting on the phone with someone.
