I once did 220 km/h in my old mazda Rx2 ,it did it easy( it was modified) ,could of gone faster too.And once i was doing 180 km/h in a 100 zone and i got pulled over by an off duty cop "how long you had you license ?" "4 years" "well you not gonna have it much longer" .He told me i would get summons in mail.Never happend
yeah it would do it easy, rotarys are damn quick, they're practically the 4-wheel version of two strokes (in principal they do run more like a 2stroke and share more similarities too like ports, pressure, and that requiring oil as lube in the fuel mix).
I feel that this cop warned you, he did it that way, to make you think, he probably understood maybe your first time or done few times but still young and might settle down. He probably didnt think you deserved it, he may have thought fuck it, hope that you learn-basically gave you a chance. Not many cops are like that.
I have been told once (well he told me mum at the front door) that i did good wheelies (on a motorbike) it was a 'race' between and me and my mate well wheelie competition lol, his bike was far superior than mine so was no match (a modded RG400 2 stroke- awesome bike it pissed on 1100's...gsx-r 750's it was fucking amazing)
I was meant to get 'dangerous driving', but i gave me court summon for careless driving, but still it sux.
oh the fastest i did in car was 220k, in a Torona GTR XU1 (it ripped too, it had the RX's kind of nastiness it bursted out of the line!, fast for a straight 6 it beaten 351 V8's on the racetrack back in 1972), 210 in my old Skyline (stock 2L from 1982, pretty impressive) and motorcycle RG400 220k and 215k on VFR700 (motocross helmet so all the winds got into my face whoaa real sense of speed shit man the wind.....) that was all.
Ok those bikes were not really top speed materials by today's standards, but the two strokes, wow they were nasty (picture this imagine a motocross 2 strokes coupled with higher road gearings - you'd get the idea...) shit they are frightening quick it gets up to 200+ like in less than 15 seconds, light and big torque - this was a 4 cylinder 2 stroke.
I am poor now, a student but hell if i had won lottery or inheriented now, I'd buy a kawasaki Z1 sell off the engine and order this 1000cc 2 stroke triple from Australia, that thing whomps out 250hp!, and it would pull wheelies 200k plus easy on 4thgear (which is what "superbike" are supposed to be capable of) and 2 or 3? more gears to go...I love pulling wheelies, used to do it for ages too - IMO that skills counts for more than sheer 'ownage of machinary'
my 2 cents
