health care passed

No. Everyone will be covered by health care insurance. If someone doesn't want health care, they just don't have to go to the doctor.

I see where the confusion is coming in. Some posters were using the term "health care" when what they really meant was "insurance." Health care is what a doctor provides. Insurance is what helps to defray the cost of the health care.

Yep and you dragged that along. Kudos.

It is less expensive that private coverage is now. And if you can't afford it at all, you will qualify for Medicaid. You will be covered one way or the other.

People already qualify for medicaid - so why is it people are **required** to have health insurance?

And government regulated health insurance at that ... or face a $2,000 fine and/or imprisonment?

Quit dancing around the bush.

I have for 2 days in other threads....Feel free to give your predictions. I gave simple questions and I answered them.

So explain how that is connected to health care reform. You can't just say, "based on the way things work." That is far too vague. For instance, it has nothing to do with the way an engine works.

Not everyone qualifies for Medicaid. The largest portion of the uninsured in this country work every day and still cannot afford health insurance, nor do they qualify for Medicaid.

I'm not dancing around the bush at all. He left office.:laugh2:

Mmm... If they want a doctor but don't want a health care, then they can't have a health care. Right?

I'm so sorry but I am not sure if I get it... Care to explain it better? :D

EDIT: Be right back. I want to edit my profile. :)

That has been the liberal spin - does anyone know what the Republican Health Plan really is?

It does not benefit doctors, it does not benefit psychiatrists, it does not benefit health insurance companies. It benefits the people.

Obamacare does the exact opposite.

Explain it to us, please.

Of course the current bill does exactly the opposite. It actually has provisions to keep the insurance companies in check.:laugh2:

OKKKK.... Let me clear.

Jillio, are you saying if a person really needs a doctor for his or her health reason, then he/she will need to get a healthcare. If a person don't want a healthcare, yet wants a doctor, then a person can't have her or his healthcare. That would be BIG too bad for him or her. Right?

OK, *IF* he/she have a healthcare so he/she can go to see his/her doctor for his/her health reaons. So, if he/she don't pay a tax, he/she'll go to jail. Even if he/she change his/her mind that he/she don't want a healthcare or to pay a tax for the healthcare anymore, then he/she still will go to jail. Right?

I just want to understand so clear. ><;; I feel a little overwhelmed here.....

As for health insurance yes you will have to have it now. If you don't there will be a fine. If you have it now you will be able to see the same Dr as before.....as long as that Dr chooses to accept that insurance plan.

Neither did the stimulus that would keep unemployment below 8%

yet another unfortunate fact.

You can lead a democrat to water but you can't make them think.

It was another Obama plan that ...... failed.

Apples to Apples.

Let's see. No one can make you go to a doctor to get health care. That is your choice.

However, if you do go to the doctor, you will now have insurance that will help pay the cost.

And to ensure doctors get paid $$$

I mean - after all it was such a drag to be forced to provide health care to the uninsured wasn't it?

Thatmy friend is what Obamacare is really about - decriminalizing doctors who refused service and criminalizing those without insurance.

Just like the HMOs and the PPOs that served to increase the profit of the insurance companies. Difference being, they can no longer drop you because they think you might cost them too much and they won't get their million dollar bonus this year.

Exactly. An attempt to confuse and distract.

the attempt to confuse and distract was deflecting the point ... Obama made a plan that failed in the past, this health care reform bill will also fail.

and dig us into a hole that our great grandchildren will still be climbing out of.

the only comparison made was......the stimulus plan sounded good, but didn't work. This plan sounds good but...........to be continued

I understood exactly what you meant. Yet others didn't? Kind of amazing to see that happen.
