Sk3 is the worst ive had and I'm pretty much looking into the iphone once they establish plans for deaf people.

I am in AUstralia, and I am aware that in the U.S that almost every deaf person has a sidekick, but down here, that's different, but still I am tempted to get one soon..... SK3 is the one thanks.


Let me tell you this, this SK4 seems that it has been handed over to Motorola? Why?

Sharp has made good sidekicks, why would they hand it over to motorola? SK4 looks ugly.
 
Sidekick LX sounds nice, but is it 3g internet (high speed) or the same crappy slow dial up-like GPRS? I cannot find the specs on that...

Seq, Good Q, but I don't think so LX will enable 3g internet at all.. I believe that it will use the same crappy or just little improve EDGE internet speed. who know.. I can't pledge that nor predict that.. :)

We better wait and see sk-lx release on oct around and we will find out what specs sk-lx run on.

I don't know what kind of promises Danger and Tmobile anncounced (sp) to sk users. Because I didnt pay attention on skidekick/ danger sites's infomations and event since I use blackberry. ;)
 
Yeah, I don't pay much attention to sidekick, either. I use the Cingular/AT&T 8525 since this spring. I may plan to get a iphone if they come out with a 3g version, I am not too fond of edge speeds. I heard they will release 3g iphone in Europe, *shrugs*

I don't like SK4 or whatever it called. Please look at the pictures very closely. You will notice there is different between SK3 and SK4. The SK3 have large screen but not SK4. I bet you, it would be harder/strain on your eyes to look at tiny stuff on the screen, click here and look for yourself.

The SK4 don't have 'strobe' light for picture just like SK2 and SK3, look for yourself, click here. Please consider before you buy this junk!

Look closely on one of the picture, I believe the first picture (here) I notice that the both buttons is about to come off! Suck huh? There's more... Look at this, on the first page (here) the case look like it break or about to come loose! Geez and the last one.. I was like OH! :giggle: that guy said it look like "POS" here

Sidekick lx made by sharp like sk 2 and 3 on and on. LX must has strobe light. LX running and selling for North america only.

Sidekick zante made by motorola. What about Zante, I have no clue! By the way zante for europe only.

There is no nicknames nor code name "SK4" at all. ;)

I didn't know that Apple is going to release iphone with T-mobile network, where did you hear about that? It's probably a rumor anyway. Once T-mobile goes 3g...and AT&T will go to 4g, lol. :P

I highly doubt that's a sidekick 4, it's probably some kind of other phone that is sort of a phone that looks like a sidekick, or worse case a prototype. I doubt we will see a sidekick 4 anytime soon, though I could care less about sidekicks because they're getting really old and they have lack of flexi compared to many other phones. The Sidekick LX and Zante both only have 1.3 megapixel CCD camera, compare that to those new phones have 2-3 megapixel now.

What I mean is, I said SK4 OR WHATEVER you want to call it. I still don't like SKB/W thru SK4 or should I say Zante or LX... Because I have the same problems EVEN I take good care of these SK Color thru SK3. All of them is nothing new. So I decided switch to Blackberry just like you have but mine is 8800. So, :ty: for your concern!
