Treo650 from 2004 already have THEM and SK3 dont have which SK3 from 2006. What a joke.

I love my Treo700p and battery life for 2-3 days. What a neat! You can use GPS receiver for Treo 700p thru bluetooth and it only $99.

animated GIF has nothing to do with the wireless data speeds. It's the web browser that supports it or not. My AT&T 8525's web browser supports animated GIF and it works on gprs at 3g speeds.

PowerON and Seq, Really, would you pardon me that I am not very knowledge about EDGE, EVDO like Powerful High speed wireless device. I am still learning it.

No, your friend could not possibly have gotten ovarian cancer just from the SK. The ovaries are located quite a bit HIGHER than one's pants pocket, and jacket pockets, even if they were in the same place, wouldn't have caused problems because the ovaries are in the BACK of the body -- not the front! They're protected by the rib cage.

Well, it's like I said... it's a matter of what I need and don't need.

I don't need to take pictures that are more than 1 MB. In fact, I'm not even a camera person. If I want to take a picture, it'll be a simple small picture... which my Sidekick is good enough for.

Text messaging? I'm fine. Emails? I'm fine. Calendar? I'm fine. Notes? I'm fine.

It turns me off when people try to spice up their emails by using big fancy colored fonts with pictures and HTML. It's like MySpace where people don't say "How are you?" in text, they just post an animated picture instead.

My Sidekick is simple... to the point... and has never failed me.

If you need more, then I understand why you would want a Blackberry or Treo or whatever... but not me.

What you need sk3 for? Do you need them? Both are same.. Don't see anything different between Sk2 and Sk3 but size.

Too many of my friends are not happy with Sk3 after use for year. Hard to believe your friends satisfied with them maybe they are noob then. Most of member from here are not happy with sk3 too.

The Sidekick MySpace application will allow users to edit their profiles, upload pictures from their device, read/send messages, post comments, and much more. The program, which will be available from the Sidekick catalog, will keep you logged in constantly, notifying you immediately of any new comments, friend requests, and messages. You can also customize the alerts and notifications. The screenshots look pretty dope, with a clean interface that gives you immediate access to the most important information. The app also indicates how many of your friends are online at any given time, a feature that's exclusive to the Sidekick interface. Current Sidekick 3 and iD owners will be able to install this sometime in the near future. It will come as standard fare on the upcoming Sidekick Zante. No word yet on exactly when it's dropping, but given the polished nature of T-Mobile's support documentation, we have a hunch it might be sooner than you'd think. Hmm... that sounds good. Although I don't use MySpace much, this would certainly limit all the crap that people have on their profiles for my simple viewing pleasure.

I lost my blackberry so I am considering getting SK id... I know it doesn't have a camera but SK III camera is so crummy and I always carry my compact digcam with me (heck, I even think my compact digcam is crummy - nothing compares to my digital SLR camera!).

No support for EDGE, no support for MP3, no support for.. um...

Frankly, I don't care. I just want the ability to text message, email, and IM. I also want contacts (I know it doesn't support sync but I'll figure out how to extract data and export/import to my Outlook). It said it supports notes, tasks, and one game. That's all I want and since SK id offers for only 99 dollars, I am perfectly content with its limited support.

I'm not going for SK4. I'm gett'n old on this. My crappy SK2 have bloated keyboard and worn button but functional until I get BB Curve!! Can't Tmobile tell Danger to do better on video, wallpapers ect..

I got SK id and it was just SK. Nothing interesting. I did download Sidekick Sync to sync outlook/SK contacts and it worked well. I liked that it does all over the air instead of using USB cord to sync the outlook.
