I have one tiny problem with CHP here, what if they use bullhorn to tell me not to go straight but make left turn. Lucky for me, my son told me to make left turn otherwise I would keep drive straight and would have been pull over. Why those idiots Hollywood hire those meanest CHP to rule the roads because Hollywood need the roads to make movies. I am sick of Hollywood to use our streets and borrow CHP from out of town.
 
None for me, but I am only 21. So there's still lots of time for speeding tickets. Hopefully I can be good like Reba!

As for the peeing in public comment... I'd be way to frightened to EVER! I heard a scary rumor that peeing in public can land you a indecent exposure which can automatically put you on a sex offender list and I want to be a teacher someday! That would be baaaaad... and kill my dreams. :(
 
couple hours ago - I just got pulled over for tinted window on the way to Five Guys (new burger joint) with my mom and brother. The only words I've spoken to officer were "yea" and "ok". No ticket ($75 fine).

Officer: "The reason why I pulled you over is cuz of tinted window. it's illegal ...." (he looks all giggly cuz he scored a ticket)
Me: "ok" <pretending to care, looking around in my wallet>
Officer: "..........." (still talking)
Me: <found a card.. showed it to him>
Officer: "Oh you're friend?" (he got all awkward)
Me: "yea"
Officer: "aight. just know that tinted window is illegal so have a good day" (he quickly left)

front windows yes unless you have medical documentation. Many people do not care. We got tinted windows cuz my mom and I have sensitive skin to sun.

What if the car was manufactured with window tinting?

Damn. Yeah I know a few in the LAPD, they said the same thing. they will let friends or acquaintances go, or people in the armed forces. Anyone who is in one of those circles are lucky.

We have the same law in SC. My son-in-law got a ticket and fine for his front windows being too dark.

Cars aren't manufactured with extra dark tinting on the front windows. There's a certain percentage allowed.

The extra dark tinting is added post factory.

Wow, New Jersey is real strict about the tint. I looked it up, and the chart showed no tint allowed on the front windows. At least in South Carolina we can have them tinted up to 83% (that means only 27% light gets thru). We can't survive the sun down here without tint. :giggle:

Our fines are worse, though. $200.
