Sigh since Detriot is dangerous then why dont they do something to reduce high crimes and wont be scared for visitors to visit there?

They tried with many, many programs and also with Federal dollars. It is just a waste of money.
 
I want to say here .... If you know some place is very high crime area, why would you want to go there? Why risk being shot, killed ? Once you are shot. It could be forever. Dead gone. No coming back. Body bag with a tag tied to your toe.

Why gamble with your life?

You will find you enjoy being in a safer area much better. Less stress etc. Please put safety first.

Because they are becoming, poor... No money for almost everything... They are falling down because people move out of there and Michigan also because of some of jobs are cutting off... Plus, they are crazy.

Use your common sense here. You know who started it first and continued to keep it up and they never really wanted to stop it themselves. They are not interested in stopping anytime soon. That is the hard cold truth.

I'm not stupid about crime issue in any USA cities, as at skyscrapercity forum, if you said Detroit is most dangerous city in America then they got mad, like happened to me. That's stupid about some forumers said LA is more dangerous and slum than Detroit then I just said WTF. Detroit is not my type place to live and it already got good memories at NFL superbowl. I'm not tried to be rude or argue with you and you just on my nerves, and not respect my opinion. That's fine if you disagree with my opinion. I just tried to be nice at you and I always love to browse around city-data.com at most time. Ask Sequoias because he already know about me.

All they saw was a white guy. That was it. They did not even bother to notice I said I was Deaf then we traded shots. They had illegal guns and I had a law abiding gun permit. I shot back in self defense and then once the police realized I was telling the truth and checked my paper work then they let me go because I was driving through. I did everything to avoid it in the first place.

It's hard to do that because Detroit Police Department is lacking of funds to fighting against crime. I'm surprised that NYC are just helps LA and Chicago to make crime levels going declining. Some part of LAPD did helps Chicago too.
