Hate new cars

Did I say with one camera? No, when I hook up trailer that has its own camera, plug in, viola! I can see whats behind my trailer. Didn't I mentioned two connectors? One for back of my truck, and second for back of trailer.

you wouldnt see anything behind you when pulling a trailer/boat or whatever anyways...view would be blocked.

rear bumpers not required on baja's, but an engine cage is nice just in case, you are only allowed one accident in these and its totaled if hit hard enough. Busted pulleys, busted heads (due to pipes) broken carbs, even bent cranks...its all exposed and vulnerable to being hit (rear ended)
People even slapped 350 small block chevy's in these as well as other motors from porsch, corvair...ect.... amazing.

Ah...I see so like a real -life matchbox cars with exposed motor on the rear end, cool....i DONT think thats legal in NZ, but id find out....that's interesting but my bet is, you WOULD probably require a cage and a beefy springs to hold up the car/motors for stabilty.....

Nice, same here. When you start to see whitish on these yellow strap, destroy it or use it for lighter pulling or knowing it will break but do it safely you'd be fine. Mine can pull at 5 ton (10,000lbs). I think it is enough. But man! 10 years after my Excursion comes off, they got 31K towing capacity, I think it is  but guess they got better design... yet too expensive to own one.

Towing chains are nice but too damn heavy, and they would last longer.

As for towing receiver rating, whichever is lowest is followed, say if your hitch receiver max rating is 10K lbs, but your vehicle maximum towing rating is say 3,500 lbs then 3,500lbs is the maximum you can pull. Today's most cars can't pull more than half a ton (1,000lbs). Mine is factory equipped and the towing rating is 5 ton.

My receiver is rated for 6k max but with my truck being 4 door and 4x4 the tow rating is 5k (2 door 2wd version is rated for 5,700) but I'll never pull that much with it I'd have to put an auxiliary oil cooler so it wouldn't burn the transmission up. You can pull more than its rated for but its hard on the vehicle. Years ago I pulled a Buick Skylark with a Ford Escort station wagon using a tow rope :laugh2:

Yeah, and I have these days too. LOL

I forgot something if anyone is taking notes or trying to learn stuff here ... if something needs to be pulled out and don't have a tow bar but have a good receiver and tow strap if the loop on the end of the tow strap is small enough it can be put in the receiver tube and a hitch pin put through it to secure it.

Hey, I'm a wonderful calm driver! I don't speed, I always signal and everything! Man, if you cut me off ( ESPECIALLY on my motorcycle ) and ESPECIALLY if you're elderly here in Florida ( 80+ years old and shouldn't be driving anymore!!! :mad2: :pissed: ) *That's okay, they're about to all lose their licenses anyway... -breathe-* Yes, I do tend to get VERY angry when I almost pee my pants from dying getting knocked off my motorcycle or the front end of my car scraped off... so yes, I'm very quick to shoot the bird... :D and lay on the horn... and yell... a lot... :ugh: loudly... and pull up next to you so you hear... :ugh: and see the bird... :ugh:

oh good.. I'm a good driver 99.9% of the time. Other 0.01% of the time I'm a dumbass in remote or quiet places. So I won't incur your wrath :)

:laugh2: All I ask is that people signal and show basic politeness on the roadways! Is that too much to ask!? Oh wait, I live in Tampa Bay, home of the 90 year old drivers and the super young show off ones, of course that's too much to ask... :mad2: Jerks...

there's a difference between rude driver and bad driver. I despise bad drivers. the worst kind.

There were polite bikers went over 100 MPH on interstate highway in my state, but they did inform us about lane change and went ZOOM!!!

There is plenty of drivers doing 100+ mph on the highway even you can see a trucker doing 80-90mph. People have no patience these days...

In here, most bad drivers were teens and young adults.

Which state has the worst drivers?

DRIVERS BEWARE
According to CarInsuranceComparison.com, Louisiana drivers are the worst drivers in the USA, thanks to drivers' failure to obey traffic signals, speeding tickets and careless driving.

Failure to obey traffic signals, careless driving is same as rude driving.

What's difference between bad and rude? It is bad to be rude, right?

Not always, the rude drivers use gesture like flip the bird at you, won't let you to change the lane on highway (blocking the lane), throw stuff like bag at you, tailgating you, inciting you to race and rude behaviors.

Lane change violation and fail to wear seat belt are not rude drivers because they don't target at you.
