In bold - that's normal.
I don't see any small white smoking on my car at all due to possibly catalytic converter.

The video above explains about small smoking - that's not problem.
For large amount of smoking (white, gray, black) - something is wrong with car and need to check-up.
Intake valves or intake valve guides or seals problems. Common in 4 cylinder engines. The result of light white/blue puffs is the engine reach around 4-5K RPM, hold high rev then back off the gas pedal suddenly. I do that for smog repairs
