ahhh...what if the sign said "Park and Ride"....some people make a mountain out of a mole hill...and people do think differently...but it's common sense really...A Law Suite "injury"?...they would laugh you out of Court.

The sign was not meant to be taken literally anyway....
 
My understanding is "Park and Ride" means the commuter drives and parks his/her vehicle then takes the train to work.

"Kiss and Ride" means someone (often a spouse, maybe a parent) drives the commuter to the station, kisses him/her good-bye, then drops off the commuter to catch the train. The driver does NOT park the car.

"Park and Ride" = park and commute.

"Kiss and Ride" = dropped off and commute.

I had never seen a ' Kiss and Ride' sign. Have you or anyone else?

We have a commuter train station and people can park their car for the day and use the train, we also a bus station and people can park their car over night . I park my car at the bus station for 3 nights . There are no Kiss and Ride signs but we do have 'Live Parking ' signs. So I guess dead people can't park there. Joking!
 
"kiss and Ride" is just a phrase. I don't see how it is sexual harassment at all. It is not an actual action being performed, it is not really directed at any one person...

Seems like we are getting more and more ridiculously PC about words. First the whole furor about the word 'bossy' (people want to strike that from the English language to 'spare' women...?!) now this argument that "Kiss and Ride" is harassment? It's just a catch-phrase dreamed up by some ad execs. I think the ones in the DC area have been there forever- I seem to remember seeing them when I was there 20 some years ago!

Thats nice explaination but why would one waste their space for that whee there are many places to meet up in public
