Sighhhh. No wonder he doesn't get invited to parties.

He got invited to my pool party once.

The pool toy he was on capsized.

He never came back for some reason.

Who knows. He never resurfaced!

We couldn't find the body.

Hmmmm:hmm:. Sounds like perhaps he had some sort of disease that prevented him from remembering how to swim.

Nawww, any good captain knows to go down with his rubber ducky.

Yeah, one hears of walking like one, looking like one, and sounding like one, but no one said anything about swimming like one.

That video cracked me up because he was dead serious. I don't know how the admiral managed a straight face, but his response was classic: "We don't anticipate that." I don't think I could have held myself together the way he did.

I hope he things go well with Johnson's hepatitis C. That doesn't sound like a fun disease to have.

Yeah, when I watched it and listened to the guy and when he actually said the tipping over part and then i thought "Okayyyy" and then a few seconds later he said "...and capsize" which made me laugh even more. But in the beginning it was a bit painfull to watch him slur somewhat, stumble on some words, trying to get his thoughts together asking the admiral about the size of the island. He was like stumbling all the way through....and he capsized himself with that comment of his on the island tipping over, literally, ironically enough. Not of a sound mind in my opinion.

I agree. Hope he gets better.

He could have taken a lesson! Let us all save this to memory to prevent our own early demise.

You are not qualified to make that judgement.:cool2:

At least this gaffe was funny. This is the same guy that said if Joe Wilson didn't get rebuked, people would be riding around in white hoods intimidating people. That's plain disgusting.

But then, this is a guy that comes from the district previously represented by Cynthia McKinney, so maybe it's not all the hepatitis C talking.

Must be something in the water over there?
