I don't need more taxes going into useless wars.. I don't want another "Bush" term - they are all idiots. I used to be republician until Bush make Americans shame of their own country.
 
Oh, no she didn't! She just referenced JFK in re: to McCain. McCain wouldn't make a pimple on JFK's ass!

And she just used her baby with Down's Syndrome in an attempt to garner votes. Pitiful. Funny that she did a run down on all her kids, but barely mention her 17 year old daughter. Skipped right over the pregnancy. Very convenient.

It was either a protestor or a drunk. I couldn't tell, but they were definately stumbling.
 
There has not been a single speaker tonight, Palin included, that did anything more than spout a bunch of anti Democrat rhetoric. Tells me that they don't have a clue how to follow through on what they "promise." I already see the frightening similarities to the last 8 years.
 
Ok - Palin's speech was good but handful of it was misleading. Giuliani's speech was a complete farce, lies, etc. He should not be there at all. She gave a very few things of what is to be expected from McCain Administration. The whole speeches were opposite of Obama's speech. It's getting old to hear about McCain as POW.

She spouted rhetoric. Nothing substantial. No policy outline, nothing.

Agreed on the POW issue. Especially when, 4 years ago, the same party poo-pooed Vietnam service.
 
here's good information to learn about Palin (never mind wikipedia entry about her, I learned that the few hours before McCain announced, the entry about her were edited BIG TIME! to make her looks good and that shows that there is problem with her image eh..)

You know, there were buttons being worn at the convention tonight that said "Hottest VP from the coolest state." Any one else see that slogan of the McCain campaign remarkably sexist? :shock:
