for me and others this is as real as it gets. we see what has happened, we have felt the practices, we see deaf children DENIED their birthright, Deaf children kept from Deaf as if we were diseased, and our sickness was somehow "contagious",
and they are right in the sense, sign language is catching, Deaf instinctively use it, because its theirs. but its not a sickness, its NOT something to be eradicated, NOT something to be kept from the very people that need it...Deaf babies and children, Deaf adults,, .so to us this isn't a theory, this isnt some argument to support logos or multinationals product line...
to us this is our culture and people's future at stake.
