friend told me about a haunted place at decommissioned military facility in brooklyn. I went. saw nothing. went home but stopped by at dunkin' donut too. true story.
ghost/spirits don't exactly allow you see them knowing you doubted them. :)

Is that Dunkin Donuts place right next to your home?

There are a lot of ghost stories in Bay Area...

what i have the experience? yeah...too scary and dont want to share because it is rated NR.

It happened to me once in San Francisco years ago. I shared a bedroom with a roommate. While she was asleep, I saw 3:00 a.m. on her digital clock in red. I was about to sleep, but I felt something hit my arm so hard. Geez. I knew it was an evil entity swarming around the campus of San Francisco State University.

I have several ghost stories as well..I am sure you may already know about my ghost stories somewhere in AD.

I plan to revisit the House of Seven Gables in Salem, MA next month if the plan works out for me and a friend. That attic of the House of Seven Gables gave me a spooky feeling. Shudders!

I can't say IVE seen one but I honestly believe my grand-daddy was with us for over a year when I first brought Adam home from the hospital...

Trying to keep this brief--when A first came home I suddenly started smelling mens cologne at the door to my room-- where his bassinet was, it was only in the doorway, not the room or the hall-- like someone standing there watching Adam...

when he was a little older he would watch 'something' near the ceiling of the room, intently, and follow it around the room w/his eyes-- and LAUGH and talk to it... when we asked him jokingly "Who are you talking to?" (he was 4-5 mo old) my mom and I swear we heard him say "Him" and giggle again-- (it wasn't a bug he was watching b/c the cat never responded to it, and she would've for sure-- AND he did it when he was in the hospital even!!)

He also used to take the picture of my G-daddy off the wall and kiss it and say "POP POP" when we'd walk by the picture-- he's NEVER done that w/any other pics... (my Gdaddy died in 1968-I never even met him-- but always called him Pap-paw when referring to him but I hadn't to Adam)

He'd be sleeping in his swing, not moving at all when suddenly the swing would start swaying-- it was a cradle swing that moved side to side when turned on, it would sway front to back when this would happen (like it was being pushed)

And the clincher-- he was sick one night coughing and all-- I hadn't fallen asleep yet and was getting into bed-- he started coughing and crying and I heard a males voice on the baby monitor (but not in his room- which was across from mine at the time) say "Adam" and he sighed, quit crying and went back to sleep-- didn't cough or cry again all night!! *mom froze up and couldn't get out of the bed for a few minutes! lol*

The next day I was trying to get him ready to go in the AM and he was looking into my room fussing "pop-pop!!" I told him his" 'pop pop' couldn't help him and granddaddy you need to let me get the baby ready!!" Adam just looked at me and got quiet and let me get him ready...

we've moved since then and Grand-daddy's picture isn't near Adam's room anymore but the other day he saw it and smiled and said "pop"-- keep in mind this kid is adopted-- but he favors my grand-daddy so much you'd never know he wasn't one of 'us' by birth-- he has some of his personality, and even swings his arm just like my grand-daddy did--

So do I believe my son has 'seen' a spirit?? YES-- I think he had a guardian watching over him keeping him safe-- until he was past a lot of the 'hard stuff' we went thru when he was tiny...

First and formost - for the people who doesn't give a damn about this thread or doesn't believe in anything, now is the good time for you to leave.

Anyway, back to the topic, does anyone or a friend or family member of yours have experienced seeing a ghost, or spirit or panmanal (sp) activity during the night?

My friend's housemate just did, last night. At the local blundell's cottage.
Yes I have seen them plenty but do I want to share about it with skeptics here on ADers. no thanks. but my husband was skeptic also till few nights ago when he woke up around 3 am and went to toliet. He heard a baby music in living room ( my grandson's music toy in tub) was playing. He went to living room and saw it in the tub playing. He thought cat was inside the house but I told him next morning no I locked the cats outside and there was no way cat would have jump inside the toy tub while they were outside. I asked him if our dog did this and he said no she was laying in her own bed whole time. I knew it was not good sign. Oh well, now I have to wait and see what happen with my mom who just move into nursing home that day when the baby music was playing in the toy tub that night. I am sad really. Sign of those activity means not good news.

or maybe music tries to comfort you guys when your mom had to be into nurising home for a reason. Sometimes sign of those activity may be harmless. Im sorry about your mom into the nursing home.

Thanks. :) True, it may be a good sign but we have to be ready to let her go when her time is up. 'It is strange the music came on itself few hours after my mom was put into nursing home. Been quiet around here for years since I told them to leave us alone.

Our kitchen door opens by itself, even though it was closed tightly. MIL says it never happened before, so we think it's FIL coming to check up on all of us. He died right before this started.

I just had my ghost experience.... wow....

:cold:

Sorry to disappoint you, I went out late with my friends last night (and one of his friends was being stupid and trespassing and making noises) - no luck getting ahold of a ghost through out the surroundings last night. However, I saw a shady figure in the second floor at the National archives of Australia, you cant see it with the torch but you could see the little girl's shadow staring out of the window :cold:
